People that are so perfect or feel the need to be perfect almost always have childhood trauma and some type of drug abuse. She needed help long before this happened. But forgiveness is a huge part of healing
I believe that the people who spoke against you Martha or said negative things it was all just jealousy I mean really you wrote such beautiful books had magazine taught me about you know gardening and cooking baking still so it has to be jealousy
As a father of two I commend Mr and Mrs Hance for being able to keep on after losing all 3 daughters. I personally feel like my pain and grief would be so unbearable that I would definitely commit suicide. I cherish the ground my children walk on.
How could this man after being asked, "how did you feel when the stem cells did what you wanted them to do" knowing that there were no stem cells at all used, say, "I wanted to cry"?!?! What a terrible human being
This woman was a control freak and a perfectionist. She never talked about her feelings or shared intimate things about herself with anyone. When the daughter called her mother and Diane denied anything was wrong. It sealed their fate. This person could not face what people would think of her driving drunk with little kids in the car. She over did it this time. She rather end it than to be found out. There are many people like this.
I agree 100% with your comment. Diane took it too far this time, and when she spoke to her brother while on the Tappan Zee Bridge, slurring her words, calling him Danny, complaining she couldn't see, I think she realized her perfect persona was gone: The jig was up. Some people would rather die than face exposure.
@@carolynnkingyens1000 She truly hid her alcohol and drug abuse for years. Only her loser husband knew. Afraid he was going to get sued...which he did.
The reason she got rejected isn't because she is "too boring" it's because these schools exist to be exclusive. They are only prestigious because they are the oldest, have high rejection rates, and cater to wealthy elites. I think what holds her op-ed back, was making a criticism of these ridiculous qualifications, and instead should have focused on why these institutions don't need to be so exclusive, and how that ultimately holds academia back.
This video needs to be removed. Along with all the others that preach or show this as a miracle surgery. Fake bs and horrible endings for all the patients who had one. These videos are abominations.
I am actually reading the book and done research of what really happened, my heart goes out to Jackie and Warren and thinking of there girls ... one question I keeps thinking and wondering about did anyone ask Diane husband if he seen her drinking that day or did that happen afterwards? Jackie & Warren time will heal as you share and keep the memories or your beautiful girls ! ❤
Trauma recovery therapists are selling the last stage of recovery is you become a better person and use your horrible experience to the betterment of society. About that I have said “bull” and more. Nothing good comes out of having your life destroyed. Good for Martha. She has risen to the occasion, and said the truth. No, nothing good comes out of it. We lose productive years of our lives, and during that time we lose people we love too. I wish I could rise to the occasion too. But starting over at 68 with no more assets and clinging to my health continues being a huge deterrent. I’m glad Martha was honest about nothing good having come out of that experience. What a woman does through it and after it is to make the most of it so we can to stay sane in order to endure. Much respect for Martha Stewart.
Looking back, Matt Lauer was a terrible interviewer, not letting Martha speak and round out her answers. And it's weird to see him questioning her when he had his own secrets: On November 29, 2017, NBC News announced that Lauer's employment had been terminated after an unidentified female NBC employee reported that Lauer had sexually harassed her during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and that the harassment continued after they returned to New York.
