Scary how accurate this show predicted elements of our modern society. Look at little Opie. He just walked right past his father without saying hi cuz it was so engulfed in a small handheld electronic device.
Hi everybody, I only vaguely watch the show when my relative were watching it years ago…..l now I’m retired and I live to watch the show. The writing is fabulous. The characters are very well defined and I love all the. I love the MacGyver planning…… always against the Germans… they wouldn’t make this show today. We all know it.
Shultzy. Saw John in a war movie. 36 hours I think it was called. Portraying a guard on the Swiss Border. Similar to Shultz, except he extorted a toll from those wanting to flee Germany. He said to James Garner;” A German must make enough money during a war, to survive between them!” So true.
1:20 Oh my God, that look he gives Hoss, alone in the silence and isolation of a house located in the middle of nowhere, is terrifying 😆 And the part where he gives Hoss the second brush made me laugh. What a trickster.

I would come home from school in the afternoon and watch the reruns of "The Beverly Hillbillies" with my grandmother, who adored this show; God rest her soul. It is a very funny show, but I watch it because it brings back memories of my grandmother, too.

I used to think 86 was Mr Cool and that there was hope for clumsy guys like me. 99 was drop dead gorgeous and her voice was smooth like silk! She gave me hope for guys like me too! Wow!
