So I'm several seasons into my Madden 24 franchise with the Colts. Got through my latest draft and got hit with the financial probation warning. I'm like $100 million in the hole. I've never run into this issue with other versions of Madden in the past. I guess I went ham on resigning players this past offseason. I know I can cheat and give myself $5mil at a time back, but I want to try and salvage my franchise the old fasion way. So you're saying that cutting/trading a player I resigned last season isn't gonna get me very far out of the hole? That bonus money has already been paid?

naw facts! its a pretty simple method, glad its helping some people out! it is dumb however this glitch is a thing in madden they really got to fix their game
they probably are registering as having one like if you removed some they still have them so you would just do the steps in this video but for all the players the game thinks has one, if you are unsure of which players you may just have to do the long method which is just creating a whole new lineup

One thing that can help your cause is that if you take out the players bonus and add that bonus money to the players regular salary, that'll take out the penalty altogether. Problem solved
Never tried this before however I know sometimes if players don't have bonuses they wont accept the deal unfortunately, and you also don't wanna overpay by having to compensate by giving them a bigger salary! However thanks for the info I may try it on one of my dudes one day and others can see this comment and try it aswell
Those aren’t generational players….they tend to come with 70 overall from the start with 95+ potential….your first pick was a 58 overall…if that lol…those pics are the one with high upside which you take towards the ending of the draft
@@4MULACosmos He's right. There are a dozen mid-high 90's POT every single draft with starting OVR in the 50's-60's. Generational players are always 65 OVR with 99 POT. Basically just a starting RTTS player

no it still works but watch the vid fully. youre probably on cloud franchise. the first method to add 5m funds is only on offline mode franchises. you need to do the 2nd method if youre on a cloud franchise. this method still works because madden still hasnt changed anything regarding this
I messed up bad on my franchise everything was going good but when I need to choose between Marvin Harrison Jr and Justin Jefferson Clearly I wanted to keep Justin but I really liked Marvin I saw the restructure option on one of my RT and I did and I got like 10 million in salary cap but what I didn’t see was that it took money from my owner fund so when I restructure half of my team contracts I went from 300 million in owner fund to 70 million And to make it worse I ended up treating Marvin either way, lol I’m bout to turn the salary cap off fuck it
yes, you should be able to, the players just have to have been able to be resigned (not a 1st year player, not in there last year and havent just resigned them)
Drafting A potential players that are already in their 20s with overall in the 50s means they wont be useable at the MLB level until their late 20s, which makes them good players to trade, but not good players to fill your MLB roster. The progression in the game isn't fast enough to make them viable as long-term players.
This is just not true whatsoever 💀 mlb players last far into their 30s your farm is system is for PROGRESSING i understand where you’re coming from but ive been using this method since last year and even this year have multiple starting that low and having them progress. I typically dont need them up right away anyways
If you’re a team like the rockies or that need starters you typically have higher picks which is why i say scout near your draft position, teams with high overall mlb players and in win now mode typically have the budget for filler players and have longterm deals so you can develop these posters and buy the time the current player’s on your roster move on you can call them up or trade them and they’ll be a higher overall and worth more

If you do exactly what he says this works…. Just remove all players that had previously had X factors from your lineup then activate your X factors then readd them

Good question, 1 i dont run dime however i would run my base defense for the first play , with someone having 1 TO and 10 seconds prevent could easily make it so someone can get in fg range. Id after the sack with 5-7 seconds left and its 4th down i think im going prevent as it protects the bomb and someone would need to make an insanely fast read and get down and call the TO in order to try to get 1 second to kick it
