Back in my day of owning a motorcycle in the city was to stash it at a underground parking garage in odd sized unused spaces. The guys would let you park for free if you were semi civilized. Plus when I wanted to ride i would park my car underground jump on my putt and head out like Batman from my Batcave. City life.
I put a set of fishtail pipes on mine. At first I ran straight pipes with no baffle but it was too loud. I put in some 4 inch baffles and it sounds great. I used 1- 13/16" pipes and had to expand them just a little to make them fit. Looks great too and only cost about $300 including hangers and clamps. Those Agostini's cost at least $1000 and they still look like mufflers.
Hi Richard, just received my exhaust from Thunderbike, I haven't seen it yet as I'm working away , will fit when I get home,fitted 180 rear 17 inch rim. Been rebuilding bike for 12 months, can wait to finish build a d ride it
I wanted a late model 1100 Cali as this was too big and Harley looking . But this came up cheap and thought I could sell it if not liked. ... not being sold.
Great looking bike! Just got a set of S4R forks for my SC1000 as well. I've filled 7.5w oil but haven't had a chance to install on the bike yet. Which weight oil did you use and do you have any base setting recommendations for the forks? Thanks!

Hello Richard But the exhaust you mounted, seen previously in your other videos, is the Thunderbike exhaust, but can it also be mounted on other triumphs? Like a Bonneville for example?
Cheap tank off eBay . Insanely hard to fit .had a boilermaker extensively modify it. Doubt anybody will bother and this will remain the only Xbr500 in the world with this tank.

That's harsh. 40k over the speed limit here they just take your license but they ticket for more than 4kmh over the speed limit. We're told that doing 105 on an empty road on a perfectly maintained bike is more dangerous than driving an suv full of kids who are all asking you for shit while you're tailgating, eating a hot pie, drinking coffee and fiddling with your stereo at 53 kmh in heavy traffic. It seems Aussie road safety legislators are as stupid as Kiwis.
It gets worse. Our Beloved Masters have decided that 1 kmh over the limit is too fast and they're going to randomly pull motorcyclists over to check our riding gear, and check our bikes. I hope like hell I get pulled over, I intend to explain in simple terms just why I know more about my bike's roadworthiness than any half wit in a Commodore.
Me too but will have too wait until I hit the open road.Here in Australia going over 40 kph in any speed zone they impound your bike and label you equal to a murderer of people who aren't actually around but could be?.I have owned 2 TBS's lovely bikes.
