THE ONLY REASON a parish would have the knights as guard of honor is the uniform... it gave an air of pageantry. The new uniform looks like a scouts outfit, I see absolutely no need to have them as honor guards. Parishes should establish an organization whose purpose is act as guards of honor and have really cool regalia
