I don't know why people thought that was actually Willard Scott in this as Ronald in one of its 2 ads that rumoured to be his ''last'' official appearance as him, it feels more like that it was actually portrayed by Ray Rayner. The commercial also feels like that it was made sometime around 1968.
They also used this as the foundation for the show in syndication in the 1970s when I was in elementary school. Then several years later when I became interested in World War Two, I finally understood "Holy Guadalcanal, Batman!"
