I gotta say, this was a perfect troll video, I remember watching this in 2017 and I believed everything until the Undertale music started playing. I never got that the characters names were weird because I only knew Lucas back then because of Smash and thats why this video rules, it is perfect bait for casual people who knows very little about Earthbound/Mother like I was. The Undertale track was the Achiles Heel, because seeing Undertale back there was inevitable, since it was everywhere, but other than that its really well made and convincing for a casual.
As one of the other comments points out, you really shouldn't call the little guys Tohunga. That term was one of the biggest parts of the lawsuit against Lego by the Maoi people, as the term has significant cultural meaning, and shouldn't have been used to describe little villagers. Hence, you should use the retroactively given name "Matoran"

So Bionicle are kits of plastic sci-fi/fantasy hybrid characters that you assemble yourself, backed up by an eclectic, fleshed out lore... I wonder if anyone there during the conception of the series was a 40K fan. Tahu's mask looks VERY similar to the space marine helmets, so it's just got me wondering!
You might be interested to know this, but a user named Ontocron just made a major mod for this game that fixes all of the bugs, cleans up the backgrounds AND fixes most of the inconsistencies! I recently installed it, and it’s the definitive way to play the game now!

One reason this game sucks is ‘cause due to budget cuts and a low time limit. There was originally gonna be thirteen levels instead of seven, but supposedly they had to get the game done by Christmas of ‘03
Yeah, the Stone and Earth thing used to confuse me too. The difference is that Stone deals with boulders, mountains, or sand while Earth deals with terrain, soil, and clay. Basically Stone is rocky while Earth is earthy. Make sense?
I revisited this game a few years ago and I put it down quickly. I didn't encounter any bugs but the repetition and over reliance on hero mode left me bored to tears.
I remember playing this during middle school on a PC that was worse than a potato. That loading screen with the planet rotating is ingrained in my mind. Lolz
