A guy told me years ago that this place was fantastic for Smallmouth. Enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for posting and sharing your fishing techniques.
You guys caught some really good ones! One more good one and you would have cashed a check. Overall though, looked like a fun day. As always, I appreciate you sharing and for carrying us along once again. Keep after em guys! Next time, I'm hoping you catch some giants!
Awesome job and great video. I hear that Anglers Choice runs some good tournaments. Your partner trusted the grip on that Bubba scale a lot more than I would have! He was weighing one fish awful close to the side of the boat. If that was me the fish would have surely jumped off.
Nice video and a decent finish! Not the finish I know you guys wanted, but you did beat a lot of boats. I hope you guys catch some big ones in the next tournament! Rootin for you guys! Thanks for sharing this! Keep after em buddy!
You were really dialed in and slamming them - thanks for putting the content out. Sorry for being “that” guy, but note that in PA it is illegal to purposely fish for a bass on its nest.
You guys did a good job! So sorry that you missed that big one! But you guys still finished well. Just barely out of the money. You'll get em next time buddy! The Magdraft will catch some good ones. Hope you rock em at High Rock! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Hello Jodon, Big fan of your RU-vid videos! I Live in Cranberry PA and fish most of the same water you fish PA & Ohio. Just refurbished my Ranger 487VS with 3 Humminbird Helix 10 units along with Mega 360 and Mega Live including Target lock system. Totally baffled, Lol. and would love to spend a couple of days with you on the water! Also think we may have a lot in common when it comes to technique and tournaments. Regards. Britt
Those were some nice smallmouths! What happened to the one that broke off? When I saw you set the hook and it broke I assumed it was a pike. Just didn't check your line?
Enjoyed this buddy! You guys were catching them really well. Love to see that topwater bite. Appreciate you taking the time to share and carry us along. Was really hoping you were gonna get one giant to bite. At least you finished in the top ten. Good job out there!
If you turn off 2d, side, and down, and only run AT you can hear the transducer. If all the others are off then you turn off AT, my transducer stops making all noises. I did this while in the garage playing. I think what you’re hearing after you stop it is the other functions still running? But man some great info here! Thank you!
Great video and glad you guys got on some fish! A good practice day! Hopefully, you guys will have a great tournament! Definitely rooting for ya! Go get em! Looking forward to the video! Hope you have a great weekend!
Great job out there junk fishing! You had some very nice catches. Unfortunate about the break-off, but it happens. Thanks for sharing this and for taking us along! You are quite the angler!
Nice video ! Especially where you can see the bass going after your bait . Can you tell me the trailer you use with the white chatterbaits ? Like raystown and pymatuming videos also ! Thanks
Well, I thought you had a decent day myself. But you would know better than me. I did enjoy going along with you and definitely loved seeing you catch that one on the buzzbait! Very nice! Thank you for sharing this and definitely looking forward to more adventures!
yeah I like the lake, I didn't do any research or map study, went there put the boat in and winged it. need to make another trip I like how the lake sets up
Good job buddy! I fish Anna a couple of time a year! It can be a tough lake to fish, but can also put out some very quality bass. Looks like you had a good time! Thanks for sharing!
Nice video! That was a great day of fishing! You had some really nice catches. Other than the weather, looked like a lot of fun! Thanks for another awesome adventure! Keep smashin em buddy!
Im local to raystown and ahve grown up fishing for striped bass on it because my step dad is a guide but he will drop me off at like 3 am on my kayak and i have found the perfect patterns my by far favorites to throw is a fluke and a spook and here soon im hoping to start fishing tournemnts maybe this summer bc im 15
For the conditions, you did a good job out there. Thanks so much for taking us along another adventure. I enjoyed watching you throwing the crankbait. Keep rockin it my friend! Tight lines!
Those are some awesome catches!! I’m over in Ohio and a big one on my river is 3.5lb, but I’ve seen multiple 5’s and one that had to be 7-8lbs. So I’d imagine for it only being your 3rd trip there and you catching those toads there’s gotta be some monsters.
That was a tough one for you guys. Now it's time to regroup and get ready for the next one. Thanks so much for sharing this one and for taking us along. You will smash em next time! Keep up the good work my friends!
I really like the Duckett spinning rods, been fishing them for many years now and great question, up here where I live the fish eat crank baits very good in the late fall up to a certain point. as soon as I think the fish make a move to deeper water that's when I will reach for a blade bait. the crank bait I use is a spro rk crawler that can dive to about 14 foot and I can draw fish out of almost 20 foot with it. when it seems like the fish are any deeper then that going into there winter areas is when I pick up the blade bait and I will use it all the way throughout the winter months. but also I will also keep a crank bait honest cuz fish will move up shallow in search of an easy meal throughtout the season especially on nicer sunny days where the craw fish may be more active
Thanks. Never threw a blade bait. However they seem very effective. Ive had the boat out a few times here in the last few weeks and ive been struggling . Trying to figure something out. Thanks for the info
