1:30 into your video and I have to point out that this one is infused and not flavored. Because "flavored" would imply that it's directly flavored and "infused" implies that it's indirectly flavored.
well, at 1:21 I said "infusion." =) So, you sent me down a rabbit hole. Cigar dotcom has an article about this. I'd say that the process is different but the result, basically, is the same - to change or alter the flavor (or taste, used interchangeably) of the cigar. Regardless, I don't like smoking enhanced, altered, flavored, or infused cigars. Thank for watching! I hope you'll subscribe and stick around =)
I’ve smoked a lot of these. Some are average, some are outstanding, depending on which tobaccos they are using in that particular cigar. I have never smoked a BAD factory smoke! They are made with the scraps from other premium cigars Drew makes. I hope to smoke a lot more of them. Another budget cigar to try is the Perdomo Fresco Maduro.
I think if you’re familiar enough, that could make sense. Like being able to tell a bourbon from a scotch. As someone who hasn’t had that many cigars myself though, I wouldn’t know what you’re talking about at all lol
I have only smoked the Guardrail and thought it was very good. So gonna try more Kristoffs. I couldn’t comment on your latest review, so best of luck on your cigar lounge.
thank you! you should be able to comment now. I turn comments on by default, but YT closes comments on new videos. I have to go back for each video and turn them back on manually.
Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado Sumatra Robusto-- it's a Mexican Puro that you may enjoy. I need to try this Green Valley Partagas out as I enjoy the black label and will try anything. 👍
Ya totally agree on the cold draw thing. Total waste of time. Thanks for the ref to the nica. That’s a good way to understand this cigar. Looking forward to it

I get this problem a lot, like my cigars explode, I live in bone dry weather Texas, even if I pull them from the humidifier a day before, get outside and the problems begin, temp outside has dropped at this week and tonight was a good smoke.
Being too dry would cause the leaves to be brittle so there's no flex in them. That might be the issue as opposed to too much humidity. Did you see we sell cigars now at CigarScore Lounge dotcom? And we ship fast to Tejas!
I am obsessed with this cigar, exceptional quality-price ratio, in my opinion it beats 10 euro cigars, there is not a day that goes by that I don't smoke one, I love it...❤
I typically have the creaking issue when humidity or temp changes too fast. Also the middle section is always the last to adjust. I always dry box mine now even though I run 65rh in my tupper. That has helps me a ton with that issue. My humid here in Colorado ranges from 17% to 45%. I tend to check it on my weather app on smoking days and plan my dry box accordingly
Probably would have been better for them to block off the bottom 25% that way you won't feel like you need to use all the space . Honestly if it holds the advertized cicar capacity its a non issue . Your wanting to uae space thats not intended to hold cigars
For me AJ is hit or miss. Dorado was a major miss. But age might improve it. Wife got the wrong AJ for me. Got me the puro. I really enjoyed it. Not too strong or peppery. Did the change band color. Is now red not green.
I agree w/ the hit or miss. However, I typically love the cigars AJF makes for other people - Montecristo 1935, H Upmann Nicaraguan Heritage... love those.
Gran habano raised their prices. I used to smoke the 7x70 shaggyfoot maduros. 2/$10 incredible price for the last 10 or so years. Going on 4 months now and you cant even find them anymore. Ive seen the 6x60 maduros and have to buy those $8-9 each.
This video was actually from 2020: www.cigarscore.com/cigar-review-cao-gold-robusto/ so the label might've changed in 4 years. If you like lighter cigars, you should check out this list: www.cigarscore.com/breakfastcigars thanks for watching! don't forget to subscribe =)
Thx for great video. There is no one in Japan who can give a comprehensive introduction to cigars. and Oliva Serie V costs 3200yen in japan that means over 20$ ;D
This has been a cigar I randomly grabbed at a very small cigar shop without a humidor, and it is quickly become my favorite. As much as I venture away, I always come back to it. They always smoke great and they’re beautiful.
Agreed! I picked it up on a time crunch and I still have some of my box that are now a few years old - they're delicious! We've got these up over at cigarscore lounge dotcom =)
That's a great price, but I'd be concerned that they were keeping them the right temp/humity. If so, get some! Those prices go back to the early 2000s!
