I just got the motor and drive working on my horse, but the lever to engage the clutch for the tiller will not move. I was hoping once it was rolling, the lever would free up, but nope. Any ideas??????

Hello, I also have an old troybilt tiller. How do you determine the year it's made? I located the 6 digit serial number on the transmission but not sure of the model. I believe it is a Horse..

Damn, wish I could say the same, my fathers tiller runs, but it is so loud and it smokes and gets hot, we hope we can keep the horses running, edit:it overheats, only starts with starter motor, it only runs if you pour gas into the cylinder, governor makes it over rev, and we’ll, it’s just a old engine
