That "Malta" coin is from our island Cyprus. The design shows cross shaped figurine found in Pomos, an area on the north west coast of Cyprus. Thank you for another great hunt.

As a professional Italian I can tell you that Italy has no coin roll machines except for one in the Banca di Cambiano of Empoli, however the national bank of Italy can give out rolls, all you need to do is file a form (several if it's the first time) saying the rolls you want and they'll give them for you
De Andere Krant is a wonderful openminded (alternative) newspaper. Their initiative to pay more with cash is based on the legitimate fears that cash is being replaced by technology (card, etc.) that cost entrepreneurs more (a percentage of every transaction), and allow expenses of the population to be tracked by both private and public entities in an unhealthy way. I have seen these coins in the Netherlands too. New subscribers get them in the mail I believe.
Some more info for people that are interested in this hack: 1. Some vending machines just "eat" coins and will refuse to give them back. (So be careful) 2. Most vending machines only give back change in increments of 50c, 1€ or 2€, so make sure that the amount you are putting in ends either in .50 or .00, otherwise the machine will most likely refuse to give the coins back. 3. A very helpful trick is to put in a lot of coins at once, as some vending machines seem to have some sort of "secondary coin storage" where if you put in only 1 coin it will give you the same 4 to 8 coins in a loop. (Not all vending machines do this, but i have encountered one in Żylina, Slovakia, that had this sort of system) 4. Memorise atleast a couple of the coins to check if the machine has a lot of coins or if it only has a couple of them. 5. Most vending machines accept 10c coins and higher (In Austria most vending machines seem to even accept 5c coins), which means that you can "trade" the coins for higher denominations, because as mentioned before, most vending machines give change in 50c, 1€ or 2€ coins.
Such a shame that your NIFC was sitting next to an old coin with Verdigris, I saw some transfer as well. But the 2022 Map two was a great find. Youve been talking about them for so long.
Finally a place where I can ask this question! I found a German 2002-A cent with the KMB variety (listed on Nunista) - where can I get any data on how common/uncommon it is and what are the prices? I wasn't able to find any sources...
