Im in high school working towards finishing up my driver's license, would you recommend the automatic or manual version of the Ranger as a first car? I've driven only automatics but im worried I'll miss out on driving a stick, but maybe not. Anyways sick video!
Just leveled my truck for 3375, started with new coils for 100$, but then needed this, then that, then this, now 3.3g later i need to wait 3 weeks for an axle drop bracket to correct the camber issue (truck cannot be aligned) becareful throwing mods in.
If in time your gas pedal becomes loose on its cable. You can use a few zip ties up behind the pedal as a spacer. You put a few on the cable and cut off excess
I am 15 and I have a 1993 ford ranger xlt 2wd and it was my dads truck but gave it to me and fell in love with the truck we took the engine out and working on it like new spark plugs and wires, water pump and timing belt I can go on there is a lot but after I am done with I love to get outside kit and I do the inside too but it’s good truck my dad had it since I was like 8 so yeah lol
Have a 2004 2wd with coil springs. Running 30s right now really wanna run some kendas 33x9.5x15 so I think ill be fine on width Height wise it have a 2.5 inch lift coils and have new HD leafs that brought it up half an inch on the back. Yall think I could run those 33s?
Ok so if I take a truck with a 30” tire already on it and that tire rotates 622 times in a mile. That same truck I put on 50” tire that rotates 404 times a mile. But of course because the bigger tire has a bigger diameter, the engine struggles and the Speedo is wrong. What if I put on portal axles with a low gear ratio to counteract this? Then my speedo is correct and my engine has the same mechanical advantage with the 50” as it did with the 30”. Yes I know the 05” will be heavier and cause the engine to struggle more, but I’m ignoring that for the time being. What do y’all think?
@DoinitwithDoug thank you I will do that! He also said someone tried to punch a hole through his gas tank but he has it patched up as of now. Would be maybe another 400 dollars to get it fixed.

Dude, the code label you showed on video is your factory door code which cannot be changed. You can put a personal code in your computer but the factory code is always active.
You can press the power button on the radio to turn the radio on and listen to music WITHOUT the keys in the ignition. That solves the problem of the door dinging if you have it open while listening to the radio.
Dude, loved your video 👍. I own a 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 4x4 I bought brand new 21 years ago this April. I've done several mods to it lift, 35" tires gas shocks about 10 grand in stereo dyna matted the entire cab. Undercoated the truck and put duel exhaust and headers. The truck is super clean in excellent condition cause it's kept in the garage but I use it in the snow and mud here in central Oregon. It's been a great truck I've enjoyed all these years. No plans on ever selling it👍. Thanks for the video, always love seeing what people are doing with the Rangers 👍
