I dunno about #2, to me the ‘gods’ being referred in that instance is a synonym for pharaohs, who were seen as gods. Just because the Bible mentions “gods” because the heathens worshipped other “gods” doesn’t mean that there are “Gods”, because there is only one God, the true God of Israel. Repent. Wow I’m only a few minutes into this and this is nonsense. The “wow” factor was that God himself was on the mountain and he spoke to Moses and wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger. ...yes basically. The "God" you think you know isn't what you've always been told. "Yahweh" is one of several "gods" that came to earth a long time ago. To us they were far superior beings, so the "god" angle would've been easy to perpetuate. Especially considering the average intelligence of the population at that time. Their world was far smaller than what we enjoy.

Monotheism is a mistaken denominator. Yahweh was one of six gods the Jewish people had to pick one of as their protector after the Hebrews were made the chosen people. The gods feared reprimands from the surrounding nations against the Hebrews and as such thought the Hebrews needed a protector and the Hebrews chose Yahweh. From then onwards, Yahweh was the sole god that wes revered by the people, but there were other gods. This monotheistic view is a misconception.
