Loved the video! How do you get around the language barrier in regards to guests, I’m not sure if you speak french but Disney is my dream and I’m awful at languages haha
I only know basic french myself, it can be hard living in France when going to the shops and supermarkets but google translate works a treat! In regards to guest, it can be VERY hard but there is most likely someone on your team who can speak another language. Especially that of french and well you just pick up words easy I guess. you start to understand phrases
Livi Jade oh great! Thankyou for replying, I’m always nervous when I audition that they’re gonna test my language skills haha, glad to know there’s ways around it
Livi Jade yeah Ive been auditioning for character/parade performer and each audition has been great, I’ve always worried if I was to get it I’d ruin a meet and greet by not understanding the guest haha, nightmare fuel 😂
Hannah Emerson thank you so much! sorry to hear that! I can suggest that after quarantine to audition again as they will be desperate for new people as lots of people have left or are thinking about leaving xxx
Hey! I really love this video, I’m hoping to work in Disney once I finish uni but I was wondering if you need a second language to work there? I have French but it is very very basic 😂😂
Catriona Falvey thank you! And what part of Disney are you wanting to work in? If you are wanting be be a performer you need either English OR French. I only know the very basic french myself
Catriona Falvey I don’t know if guy need other languages as such to be a photographer but I do know every photographer I meet are fluent in multiple languages
Hi! I am going to start my job at Disney in a month or so. You can check on the careers website what languages you need for certain jobs. Hope it helps a bit. Lots of love!
