If you washed it with fresh water quickly and then blasted it out with high pressure air.....then did the rice trick qhere you bury it in rice to absorb as much water as fast as possible. I have seen that work with other electronic equipment dropped in salt water, though it's no guarantee. It may save at least some of the components, which would make replacement of the fried parts less harsh on the wallet. Worse case scenario you may have to replace a mainboard or the motors. Theres actually lots of vids here on youtube, including fixing drones that have taken a dive. You may have to open it up and dismantle it etc.....but if you can fix it, you've saved yourself 1500 bucks...and you'll know more about its internals, youll be less worried about damamging it again .....plus, you'll have the satisfaction of having fixed it...or at least tried to fix it (coz if you cant fix it, you havent made anything worse by tearing it apart lol)
@@BeyondFishingFamily It was about 45 years ago until a giant hurricane knocked half of it down. There is still remnants of that storm near there on A1A when you re making that turn heading towards the old city along the water. There are still big blocks of concrete there (I think) from that storm, it was part of the bulk head.
@@hastyone9048 Interesting history, thank you for sharing. I know along the wall or walkway closest to the river there are markers where the water from some hurricane came up to.
Thank you for watching and I hope you are doing well. The cuda was interesting and it did not bother me about the fish.😁 The Blue fish, the large ones, put up a good fight.
I did but it was in the water so long it does not matter. Fresh water it is easier to just let it dry and usually you can recoup but salt is a different story. We have a new drone that is waterproof.
You can look up Aquacat and purchase online. They are made in S. Africa and it usually takes about 6 months to get. Maybe it is faster now but that is how long it took me. Also, remember they do not sell the batteries which will be an extra cost to factor in.
Thanks for watching! It was great to meet you and I am sorry you did not catch anything. We went out this weekend saw some Tarpon chasing mullet and caught a Blue but that was about it. We were competing with all the mullet in the water 😁
Thank you for watching. I would not recommend it. Air 2s is more capable of carry a heavier load even though it is not intended for that purpose. The Mini I would not even try.
Hammock Bait and Tackle. This time of year it seems it is better to get them early or later in the afternoon. If you go around 11, 12 etc... it seems they are out.
Thank you for watching. This was Daytona beach area. When the water is calm then it will be clear but there are times it is rough but that is normal for the Atlantic side.
It is 12" at least on the North Atlantic side. It might be slightly different south of Daytone or on the Gulf side. You would think it would be consistent but it is not always. Depending on where you fish just check and verify what size and the limit are.
I have not caught any Jack yet but there around. I caught more Jack up around the Mantanza bridge vs Ponce Inlet but that does not mean they are not there.
Thanks for watching. I do not believe so. Everything is dependent on where and what you are fishing for. Aquacat can handle most anything and second would be fishing surfer. Aquacat is a one size fits all but it is also the most expensive.
This blind pass is the reason for me to travel 8000 kilometers from the Netherlands to Florida. It's my favorit spot since many years, beside Snook i enjoy the catch of big Redfish and lots of other species. Butt stil the Largemouth Bass at Okeechobee is my always favorit. Sad to see what is become off the Blind Pass after several storms. Great video's, Thanx for your efforts. Greetings from the Netherlands.
It is not blue cod. The larger bluefish come down from the North to spawn and they are down here now. Thanks for watching. Here is a link to give you more understanding of what bluefish are - www.fisheries.noaa.gov/species/bluefish
A fishing drone or purchase an older drone (ie DJI Air 2s) with an adaptor. Fishing drones are the best because other drones are not made for it but you can get by but it is not the best solution. Now after I dropped my DJI into the water I have a swellpro.
I have used live Shrimp which Bonet head like. Others, finger mullet, live pins, and other fish such as Jacks, and whiting at times. Stringwray is great as well.
