Hey ya Frankie, I like that you left the brass bare. I remember visiting the USS Drum, a WWII sub at the USS Alabama Battleship museum and was dazzled by all the brass and copper inside. There is something warm about it. They may have painted it on a lot of ships to reduce the time to polish it. Just a guess. Thank you for sharing and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
Would love to see a live action mounting the fittings, See if I can pick up a few tips from the master. Your attention to detail is always top notch. Hi right back to your Brother. Glad to hear he is doing well. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
Beautiful work master chief, I use a rabbit to do my final planking it just blends better, but I must say you need a haircut lol till next time be good or good at it mate.
Hey Frankie, The Bluenose is a legendary craft in Canada for both racing and fishing. There is even a song about her. Your right, that hull looks like a plastic kit. She is grand so far. No, you haven't shown us the lighthouse yet. As a lighthouse fan myself, I am lookin forward to that build. Of course all your builds are incredible. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
Ahoy Frankie Day! Thanks for the great video. Great information and tips. Just wonderful to see the rich history of your life brought to light through the joys of modelling. Please keep these great videos coming!
Hey Frankie, my Boy Scout Eagle project back in the 70's was to clean up and refurbish Freedom Lake Park in Pinellas Park. We took row boats out with drag bars to clean out the lake. You are absolutely right, you do it for the community. Came out pretty good. It saw a lot more visitors. Very satisfying. Very glad you had similar results. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
You should point the camera at the workbench, shows us closeups, and "talk with your hands" and then you can actually show us something. The audio is a bit muddy too. Wanted to see more of the Zwarte Zee! Just a friendly critique. 😉
That Seagoing Tug looks great Frankie! She's going to be sweet on the pond I'm sure. I'm working on a Billing Bluenose kit. Its my first ever wood boat. Wow the learning curve is HUGE! Keep us posted Frankie.
Hey Frankie, real good to hear about your Brother. God answered everybody's prayers. Really looking forward to the pictures of your new home. That seagoing tug already looks great. Reminds me of the last model my Grandfather built, which I now have. It is a Tuna Clipper he built back in the 70's. He rigged it for R.C. with the rudder and control horn and a pully on the prop shaft. Never put the electronics in it and for fear of somehow losing it, I haven't either. Looks great sitting on my china cabinet. I used to watch Jacque Cousteau all the time growing up. Loved it. John Denver even wrote and sang a great song about the vessel. Sorry, didn't mean to write a book, but you touched on a lot of good points this morning. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
Nice paper airplane Frankie! Boy I've tried a couple of those paper airplanes but I just can't get them built. The instructions are almost non existant and a newbie like me has no idea where to start. I bought a paper Zepplin from a German company, Schreiber-Bogen, thinking it may be easier...nope! Too bad too as I'd really like to build them, especially that Zepplin 😔.
Nice B-25 j . I built it when I was a kid. Fit the box scale. I built the Revell B-25 b Doolittle Raider. Alantis reproduced the kit, too . Nice kit. Senti, I remember them.
Ahoy TRhank You for Tuning In I Am honored My Brother Is doing Very Well the good lord will Keep Him Around a Little longer In life. Finished his Last Chemo Evereything Is Well Again thank you Frankie Day
She's a beaut Frankie!! Our only problem to face in this country is they can't steal the election again, prosecution doesn't seem to work. What else are they going to try??? Enjoy yourselves to the best of your ability folks and ignore the clown show. Just show up when it counts.
She is looking good. An interesting variety of aircraft for her. I have a thing for British aircraft. Looking forward to seeing her all decked out in her finest. Take care and God Bless, Paul from Florida.
