Happy to update. I still have no issues with the tank. I did need to replace one of the barbed fittings, but it was due to me dropping the tank one time I took it out for a cleaning. I flush it once or twice a season with fresh water and a teaspoon of bleach. I would say, “buy with confidence”🤘🏼
@@CantSitStillforREAL I appreciate it. I’m trying to keep the weight forward of the rear axle, and have a jerry can that sloshes enough to drive me mad :). With the footwell tank it seems like at full there would be no to little sound, then when the water level is below the transmission hump that’d be the case again. Thanks for sharing your experience!
There is only one that matches to the controller. It’s easy to find. Look for the plug of the same size and shape that has nothing plugged into it. You’ve got this!!
Just a 1/2” Pex ball valve. I got those and the hose and hose clamps at Lowe’s. Still no leaks, but I am going to put the ball valves closer and add a quick release with a shorter hose that can be used on either side when needed. The long hose is a bit of a pain to deal with for all the times I’m not camping.
This installation method is the best I've seen for the Landcruiser 200 and Redarc towpro brake controller. It's so straight forward with all the components just together under the dash. This is the part number for the Toyota plug and wire tail # 82132-60110.
Very quick and good vid to expand on FrontRunner's own mini (really mini!) video demo! Good job. Can you post a link to the info for the valves you did use?? it seemed very well made and much better than the plastic ones
I didn’t want to mess with splicing, the adapter for the 4 runner works on the LC. Bought from red arc, the had it to me in a few days with standard shipping.
I love the drawer system-- looks super clean. The MaxTrax going under the drawer system is a great idea. Would you be willing to share the plans for the drawer system?
Great work sir, this install applies practically the same for 17 Durangos. I'm having the same issue with that piece that you had to break off. I was debating on putting an incision onnthe intake box for a better fit. Either way, thanks for the video. I created my own video, relative to your install. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3cGL-BIxsm4.html
Todd Vincent with the constant power do you find that your recordings are hard to navigate? The recordings will be on a loop, so parking mode is essentially just on all the time? How is the space on the micro sd card? I too have 128gb
Do you mind listing where you found the replacement for the knockout plug that has the text "trailer brake"? Found one at 4wheel parts but doesn't look the same. Thx
Great tutorial, thanks, Todd! My dash cam needs ground, battery and accessory wires connected. Looks like you were just good with battery and ground. Any idea where I might find an accessory wire in the centre console?
Henning Bochenek thanks for that. Anyone who is installing, make sure your wire goes between the airbag and the metal pillar- NOT between the airbag and the plastic pillar cover.
Nice Video and Jeep, Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for the corsa exhaust. I've had them both and the borla drone is unbearable in 4 cylinder mode. corsa has no drone at all and doesn't get annoying for passengers. Also to save some money, buy the diablo trinity from Sean of Hemifever tuning. He will give you a tune better than diablo's tune that you will not regret. Hemifever tune was the best mod I did along side the corsa exhaust
Nice Jeep! I just recently installed my Corsa Cat-back system, soon after my wife got me the Volant CAI for Christmas, nice vid. Hope to see more vids with your later mods!
