just get dynamic. u can add custom HUD later.. save u 10.000$ i myself get premium (aurora white), because i need that extra Acceleration and range Oomph (5,9sec, 650km) performance is too much 😱
To me i would prefer this to the M3 as I dont like the interior of the M3, though this car looks great now i hope the long term reliability is good as the warranty has a lot of its, buts and maybes in it.
I just test drive both byd seal and tesla model 3 new one and i just like tesla better because tesla was more smoother and more instant response whereas in byd it was bit delay plus steering was more direct and also safety things on byd was very annoying so on the software wise tesla is way better. But byd is better on physical control plus more range in premium than rwd plus 3000 cheaper
I ordered the Premium and can't wait to get it. I wonder if Australia gets the dashcam which is missing from many other countries or if we just order it separate. My daughter is a great little helper as well XD But she's not a teenager any more :)
I love my Atto, the power is strong than my husband LEXUS NX 300H, I think the Seal Dynamic is value for money, most people are using for driving to and from work and the 230 KW is more than enough. Congratulations 🎉

Thanks for the video. I just ordered the dynamic but am now pondering if I should upgrade to premium too. Most videos on YT by professional reviewers are on the awd performance model, so it's great to see a real person test driving the premium model.
Yes I do like the Dolphin as well. The reason I went for the Seal, however, is it has slightly faster charging and is generally more spacious and refined looking in the interior. It's a really great looking car.
Hi Greg. I know you are right. I just hope the Dynamic is still a fun drive. The reviews of it that I have seen suggest it still has impressive pick-up.
True but the base mode is still faster than most Mazda 3s, Corollas and i30s. How much acceleration do you really need to keep yourself out of trouble?

Nice! I'm happy that reviews so far have been overwelmingly positive. I signing up for a lease on a performance here in Perth, demos are yet to arrive at BYD Perth but should be here in time for next weekend. Can't wait to finally have an actual look at the car. I had a Tesla a couple of years ago I sadly had to give up due to unforseen circumstances. I believe this will be close if not better than the M3.
Thank you. In the video I could not hear the pedestrian warning sound inside the cabin. Have BYD updated it? One thing I noticed with the HUD is that it is washed out if your wearing polarized sunglasses. It didn't stop me putting a deposit down on an AWD version. Nice happy video.
@@Scud_TV I’ve done some BYD nerd research. Turn out they have done an update on the pedestrian warning sound. This was done after customer feedback. They’ve also adjusted the sensitivity of the parking sensors.

One thing you get with Premium and Performance is the ventilated seats which you commented were very effective. The Dynamic is a synthetic material and you don't get front ventilated seats so you may feel a little toasty in the Sunshine Coast summer sun. I live in Cairns and have ordered the premium for 2 reasons...the extra range as I wanted a vehicle that will easily do Cairns to Townsville without having to stop to recharge and the ventilated seats. Really happy to hear how effective those seats were.
According to the brochure on the BYD website, all models have the ventilated seats. After experiencing them today, I’d be disappointed to not have that feature now. I agree the extra range would be worthwhile living in NQ. 👍🏽
@@Scud_TVI stand corrected. Just looked at the specs (again) and you are correct. Dynamic gets ventilated and heated seats though the heated seats will never be used up here. 😊
