A Twin Dad rambling. A Twin Dad that loves the movie Hook, The Oscars, and the X-Men. You can often find me rambling about and ranking physical media. Lots of movie content.
Beautiful film and I loved the use of sound. A couple of funny jokes in the beginning. More interesting than I thought it would be. People looking for a slasher are going to be disappointed.
Definitely a big mystery component. I liked it quite a bit. Scotch over Mr. Ducovny, Derek's now a Dan Stevens household. Of the roles hes had I think this is the only one I've seen that I've liked. I really like the title Cuckoo. A mystery from the get go like is it Cuckoo as in crazy, a Cuckoo clock, okay it's the bird! Tracy appearance! Did she like it as well?? The only definite on the list is The Substance. Probably watch the third film of the Human Centipede trilogy. You know, the good stuff. 😂
@@Holland_Oates yep! Tracy enjoyed it too!. I want to see substance. I haven’t seen Human Centipede 3 yet, but I’ve seen the first two. No way stevens is replacing Duchovny 😂
One of the best horror movies in years, and while it tanked at the box office for whatever reason (I paid to see it twice) I think it will gain an audience over time and become a respected classic of the genre. It was actually shown in 35mm at select theaters during its release, and they actually made a 70s throwback trailer for it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JVTMtDsHMmU.html
I haven't heard anything good about this movie either but I like the other ones so I'm sure I'll check this one out sometime. I'm a big fan of Pet Semetery 2!
I always enjoy your videos, even on movies I've never seen. I have only seen parts of the original and all of Pet Sematary 2. I haven't seen the PS remake.
I've never been the biggest fan of The Omen movies either but I've heard good things about this one. I remember seeing the remake in theaters on 6-6-06 as well, it was an event! Good times, Great Memories!
Nice! That’s awesome that you saw it too. You and I were in the theater together watching the same movie miles and miles away. I wish that movie was better though lol
Nell Tiger Free is 25 and on the rise!!! After the stinkers that were Omen 4 and the remake, she managed to shine in The First Omen!!!! There was also a TV remake on A&E in the 2010s but I don’t anyone knows that exists except me!!!
@@JohnnyTong215 definitely agree that she’s on the rise! She was so good in this. Really glad I watched it, I was impressed. I’ve never heard of the tv remake 😅
@@PureHangout it’s called Damien and it lasted for only one season. It’s a TV legacy sequel to the original Omen and ignores the original sequel trilogy.
I have seen some parts of Shocker, but not the whole film. I do remember the parts I saw being pretty nasty. You could always count on Wes trying something new with horror.
Oh man I totally forgot about this movie and wanted see it. I also forgot about Kermit's voice changing, that's a shame. Justice For Rizzo as well. Great video man!
@@dudewholovesmovies Justice for Rizzo is right! Rizzo was only in this for like a split second, and it might have just been a random mouse. It’s a quick watch, I bet you could squeeze it in before Halloween if you wanna check it out. Thanks for watching dude!
Wes Craven was trying to make a new horror villain with Shocker but it under performed at the box-office. I'd love to get Mitch's autograph on a Shocker poster! I was at the Shocker house last year and the owner had no idea they were living in a house where a movie was filmed lol
I wish the film would’ve taken off. I think he would’ve been a cool horror villain to show up every couple years. Amazing that someone can live in a movie house and have no idea of it’s history.
Orphan First Kill Had no right being as good as it was! I really enjoyed this one a lot and these movies wouldn't work as good without Isabelle Fuhrman so Im glad they decided to do in camera things to make her look the same age as she did 13 years prior and it wasn't as off putting as you would think. Definitely like the 1st one more but this franchise is my jam!
@@dudewholovesmovies I’m still amazed how much time was between the films and she still looks as you g as she does. But yeah, I love how off the rails this movie is. Feels like a big departure, but still enjoyable. Thanks for watching dude!
Im watching through the paranormal activity and chucky boxsets this year. PA are all mostly new watches and the Chuckys are mostly first time 4k watches this year. Your list so far this year seems to have been a lot of fun.
@@JOHNDOEJUGGALO yeah we had a lot of fun picking out those pumpkins! Thankfully the squirrels haven’t gotten to them yet. I’m sure they’ll be eating holes in them soon.
I've known about drag me to hell for a long time but just now saw it for the first time. I loved it. It even has humor in it which I believe Sam puts in for tension relief. I laughed when the possessed guy at the seance danced and when the cross hit Christine over the head over the evil Karen's casket in the cemetery

Shocker is an awesome 80s cheesefest! Certainly a wild ride. I have a real awesome German bust edition that I’ll showcase on my channel at some point. 🤘🏻
Went to Italy twice. We ate Expresso filled chocolate's, De cammilos, Fereros, had a shake drink called nesquick an so many , donuts soaked in alcohol lemon and so many awesome foods. My favorite short was a roasted pig flavoured chip called Porchetta. Sadly not anything from this video. But i guess there are hundreds of foods right. You definitely need to visit there. And Italian's are huge fans of almond flavors.
I've only seen Florida Project of these three so it's automatically number one, but it's also one of my favorite movies, so i think it'd be one either way
@@PureHangout That's generally how it goes. But Friday The 13th got better in the middle in my opinion. The first two weren't the best, and the last couple weren't great. But I really liked 3-7.
@@JulioVonGhoulio and I’m a weirdo that loves Takes Manhattan and Goes to Hell. Mostly because they were the ones I watched most as a kid. Nostalgia’s a hell of a drug 😂
@@PureHangout fun fact: I cast Lance as Cyborg Superman for a JLA movie tie-in game to be directed by George Miller. Before Lance performed his VO, he sat with me and we chatted for half an hour. I told him that my fav role of his, is Ed Harley. He loved that I chose that over Bishop. Such a sweet man. Bonus: “Final Girls” film homages the opening scene in the dark, blue, forest in Pumpkinhead.
2,1,3 (I totally confused myself. This is release order, so this trilogy is a chronological 1,2,3. Confused? So was I) I was never excited for this one. It met my expectations. I do agree the music is good, bacon is delicious, and running through the lot is fun (a lot of fun). Jumbly mess for me. I forgot to watch your Infinity Pool review so I'll have to do that. JAMESYYYYYYY! 😂😂
@@Holland_Oates whoa, 3rd? It’s def the least horror out of them. I barely felt like I walked away watching a horror movie. But I just thought it was so fun. You should watch Infinity Pool. Cool premise. Mia is really hard to handle in it though.
Yeah I like Mia Goth acting crazy in this trilogy and in Infinity Pool. I think this is most people's 3rd. X is the fun one, Pearl is I guess the artsy one, and MaXXXine is the homage?
@@dudewholovesmovies it was pretty jarring to see a character that smoked. You don’t see that much anymore on mainstream movies. Thanks for watching dude!
