Larry Perkins should've got a knighthood for this race win. The Car was thrashed like a redheaded stepchild all day to catch, overtake and eventually break the oppositions ' ability to respond. He just kept hooning. Knew she could take it because he built it himself. Total faith in his own car. A never-to-be-repeated showstopper of a race. Many thanks for the upload. 👍

Noticed nobody is not trying to steal sh!t from the track! forward then a race in 2023 race finish's all the bogans start jumping fences stealing signs in the pits ripping team signs down. 1990's class and style, no cars on fire, fights also the same with summernats when people respected cars and safety

Skaifes door wasn't an issue. The issue lies with the sooky Ford pink knicker wearing teams having their butts kicked by a Holden again. How the crowd cheered when Skaife came to the pits and how they cried into their girls hankies when Murphy put the kmart commodore on the top step . Embarrassing for any team to run to teacher and be a dobber . Should be taken behind the bike shed for a lesson
So glad I found this.....I was there that cold day, and it was fabulous racing. Hard to compare the current SC;s with this......was a wonderful era, and Marcos was the best !
