haha thanks for the comment! There's a dude on youtube that has 300,000,000 subscribers but not everyone is MrBeast or Asmon. That xbow player probably fully geared with Archboss weapon(s). As I mentioned, xbow dag is one of those volatile classes that can range from S to F depending on who you ask - I put it in high B tier and tried to explain my reasoning for it. For global, I can't recommend this build as S tier because a lot of people that pick it will not achieve "S tier" results and most S and A-tier builds are more consistent and less "player-dependent". Overall, as an exceptional player with top gear, you can absolutely pop off with xbow dagger!
The way I see this p2w fiasco is.. half of the classes are bellow average so they are useless, the other half are overplayed cuz that's the meta.... Just like the same mistakes they did in L2...
What I want to know is why there's only 1 green wand in the recipes, when from what ive seen so far, the other weapons get at least 4 which seem to match what you need to craft in the litho book for a blue reward... Am I wrong or missing something?
Healer is extremely valuable in TnL! Wand is the main Healing weapon so most classes that use a Wand will be considered a healer - Wand classes start at 14:51 and also SNS + Wand can be played as Healer in some content (2:34)
People keep saying that staff bow will be weak at global release? why? I got recommended crossbow dagger to start out with and then play something later on. Can you explain why? Or what's your opinion on that?
Hmm I'm not sure why they say Staff Bow will be weak, but you do have to keep in mind its a very specific playstyle. You don't have stealth to escape, so you will have to be a master of correct positioning and that's hard to do until you had some time to lear the game. Maybe its because Staff Bow gets a lot of its strength from max range and we are expecting that to be nerfed for Global. Also note that Staff Bow and Crossbow Dagger are 2 completely different playstyles - fully ranged somewhat stationary dps vs VERY mobile mid-close range dps. Join the discord I'm happy to chat some more about this.
I wonder how seasoned you are in pve in regards to making a tier list. I imagine it is based on much hearsay and feeling, seeing as there is no damage meter. I still wonder how the DPS weapon combos really add up with the latest patch. People cling on to Xbow+Dagger as the strongest, even though Staff and Greatsword have received sooo much extra pve damage. You can't tell me this had no impact. :D (I just want staff+bow or staff+dagger to compete with the top combos in pve)
@@Gleandra I'm not a PVE veteran, but considering what content is out there, I should be able to make something that will help and not mislead new players. If you are looking for someone to debate current week-by-week power fluctuations in PVE, I'm not gonna be able to provide that at the moment. What I will say separately, for pushing Challenge tiers I'd rather take a good player that is making B tier weapons work than get jailed with a player who just switched to the next "meta" build.
@@jackreacher4547 dagger pairings tend to be higher on PVP tier lists because it's strengths (stealth, evasion) are practically exclusive to PVP. In PVE you will have less benefit from stealth, evasion or mobility and so dagger combinations are going to rank lower overall. Even in PVP, after the Skill Expressions came out, a lot of non-dagger builds started to emerge and rank higher.
I'll consider something like this, but a few hurdles come to mind: Combos can vary based on game stage - people with Tier2 weapons in Korea can have different combos from what we will have in global with T1 gear. Also a lot depends on build and playstyle - are you a GS Dagger that hunts single enemies or jumps into big clumps to Stun and AOE Bomb. 21 classes, that's at least 40+ possible useful combos O_O www.twitch.tv/crazytrick might be the best place to showcase it, when I'm back to streaming regularly
Thanks! I tried to make sure its as useful for new players as possible. Check out some streamers to see more details about how your preferred weapons play like!
Thanks! Yeah, my goal with content like this is to share solid general concepts and make people think for themselves. If someone is looking for a simple answer on "What is the absolute Strongest tank RIGHT NOW" - they can ask me on discord :D
There are people that make GS Staff work in certain content and really enjoy it. Check out www.youtube.com/@Zardos00R content for more GS Staff gameplay
Depends - are you a new player or are you a veteran that tried many other combinations and want to experiment? For New Player I rate it low (check my PVP Tier List) - its a hard synergy and there are much more straightforward useful builds. For people that know the game well, I think you can cook something special on GS Wand and if you can prove you can make it work - good army should have a space for you.
On the meta, you hit on the nail. On the "doesn't fit well" combo's. I think the creativity was not there. Each of these class combo's has their specific use. I've rerolled almost every combo and tested more than I'd like to admit. I'll give an example. The worst combo in the game, sns + xbow. I have a theory craft for you to test. Can you abuse the passive of "spectrum of agony" and force players to attack you? Though it's hard to land the first taunt due to the fast place. It should make an awesome counter for your group being jumped on. Taunt + merciless barrage and watch as a no cap group gets forced to attack you instead for what should be 20+ secs. This combo is the only thing I haven't tested but the creativity is there. If you do test this, please let me know the results. I have plenty more idea's.
What is cool about TnL is that with Skill Expressions every build can have something special like SNS Xbow! I think your example works well on paper and PVE, but in PVP against a good team more questions come up in my mind: 1. Everyone plays spread to avoid Sleep Bomb etc. - your taunt can only catch a limited amount of ppl, 2. When you are spinning you cannot block, so you are at risk to be CC'd/burned by mages/etc.. I like your creativity, but players need knowledge, experience and testing to succeed in what you are suggesting and I need to consider New Players also when I'm giving my advice <3 thanks for sharing the idea!
@@crazy-trick I do love the reply. There were definitely things I didn't take into consideration. Though I think my original comment still stands in regards to using classes for their personal perks, regardless if they are meta or not. If we all went by your video. There would only be the meta. Which I think would fundamentally destroy the number one thing I love about this game, diversity. Which I think this game has a ton of. There's not just a single way to play the same weapon types. I've got a few builds up my sleeves that I will not be making public. Though I sent one your way, which was theory crafted and not tested. I hate to assume but based on the time stamp, you either tested it really quickly or not at all. Which makes your reply a bit.....diminished. I know sns/xbow is not meta, 100% with ya! I just think you haven't put the time in for the little guys.
@@asurakey yeah your original point still stands, wasn't trying to argue it - just shared my thoughts. I did not have time to test it since your comment, but I did chat with www.twitch.tv/LittleFattyGG about it since I was watching him last night. He also has a clip of extending the taunt on mobs past what looks like 13 seconds on the debuff bar, before they die. In case you've not heard of him, I recommend checking out his stream for anything SNS or Leveling related <3
@@crazy-trick Ya no worries. I think I've watched a few of LittleFattyGG's video's. I love the content with the exception of the, "choose your class" video's. They always seem to say there's only one way to play weapon types. Which as you know, I defend quite heartedly lol. As for taunt, ya that's about the average range for a normal combo w/o mb. That'd be like 8-9 secs against players and if used mainly as a counter, you could stop other players from getting melted and punish them, quite badly too. Another combo is chain + taunt. I wonder, can you spread other people's weaknesses? There's so much testing and fun stuff to try out. It's killing me lol. Anywho, thanks for hearing me out!
@asurakey Did you try bow/xbow? On paper sounds like the same glass cannon as bow staff, but with more single target damage and with much much more long-term dps because of lower cooldowns. I didn't play it enough to say it's playable for sure, but 3 strafings with mortal mark and mother nature just melts people, and then you also have 3 quick fires.
Good video. I liked the explanations of each combo. Some of them serve a very niche role but that just means you don't want en entire guild full of them. I do believe ppl are sleeping on some builds though ;)
If we get and can keep a lot of players on Global, there's gonna be a lot of people trying to cook "off-meta" and some are bound to succeed. I'm excited! :D
Many options! Ranged or Melee? Bow Dagger is very intuitive. Staff Wand is an easy class to start with. Greatsword Dagger if you want to be melee, SNS Greatsword if you want to learn the game as a tank.
@@crazy-trick I’m leaning toward tanking with sword n shield/wand but I heard in other videos it was slower to level but I love tanking in games and if coupled with wand it makes you unkillable? I’m a happy camper 😊
@@CloudySodaSounds yeah it makes you super tanky and hard to kill. It is not hard to level, SNS Wand will be a bit slower but no problem. It was harder before they introduced Skill Expressions, so if the videos you are mentioning are 2+ months old, the levelling is easier now.
ill go staff/want i want do some damage and self healing... because hp potion cd is 1min :) Im noob PVE and trie have some fun in pvp... So This class have skill Mana/HP looks perfect for me ^^
I'm gonna be honest - I messed up the thumbnail and had to re-upload 🥲 Should be all fixed now, so please share if you know someone who will want to play this on Global. Appreciate the support!
