My grandparents acquaintances with the Taxin family every time we went to Philadelphia at Christmas for my grandfather to play the organ at the Masonic Lodge we would eat it bookbinders. Although I've been back to the old bar I was not aware that the Richmond location was still open as soon as the moratorium on restaurants is relieved you can guarantee I will be taking a weekend road trip. As a child are the early 70s week-long trip to Philadelphia seam Wanamaker's Gimbels and Strawbridge & Clothier was not complete without a Friday or Saturday dinner at bookbinders where I got to go up to the big tank and pick out my own Lobster. That was my reward for being a good boy all week. Years later when I work for Amtrak every time I got a layover in Philadelphia I will go there for lunch
That's so awesome! I am glad you got to see the highlight. The restaurant in Richmond is really beautiful. They are doing take out starting today with Covid 19 going on.
