My name is Alexandra and in 2016 I founded Crochet Beginners Group on Facebook. Our amazing group started off with only 5 members and now has over 150k keen crocheters from all over the world. I learned to crochet from RU-vid so wanted to give something back to the amazing crochet community and too be able to help our members gain confidence in their crochet skills.
I am based in the UK and my "day job" is a Mental Health Nurse. I would love it if you subscribed to my channel and if you click on the bell icon it means you will be notified of any new videos I post.

Wow. Thank you so much. This was soooo helpful. I’ve watched so many tutorials and I just don’t have a 3 D brain but your tutorial made me doe the FIRST time ever have a successful magic ring. If I could hug you and treat you to a cuppa, I sure would. Thank you so much for sharing your technique
How many Sheepjes Whirl skeins does a normal size shawl take? Also, is there a way to add a border to the neckline portion to make it appear more finished?
I find the 'magic circle' to be harder than the crochet stitches themselves 🤣. Thank you for the tips. I like how your nail varnish matches your yarn! Can you tell me which make of crochet hook you use please? Liked and subscribed x
I started crocheting atleast a year ago my sister tried to teach me but I just couldn’t do it so I gave up when i saw my sister making things I wanted to do the same so I started teaching myself just trebles and then today I watched this video becuase i wanted to make a magic circle I watched it.l over and over again but still nothing. Im so confused by the increase does that mean that you have to fit up to 8 crochet under one V? then single crochet? it doesn't make sense...mine is looking like a crazy flower. lol
Guernsey is important for their Patron Saint, St. Samson who happens to have his feast day on my birthday, July 28th. Safe to say that Church Services are a thing to do on Guernsey on a Sunday 🇬🇧
