I’m just starting to work with monkeys and I can’t wait to learn more about them. Especially squirrel monkeys. They are so cute. I totally understand that they’re afraid of humans though. I’m basically going to be a chef/housekeeper for primates.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They are "dirty animals"?? Weird for you to say that as they are no more "dirty" than any other animal. If you are keeping them inside the only thing really that needs to be cleaned from them is food and waste. In the wild monkeys constantly clean themselves, each other and their babies. They are only dirty if you arent cleaning them as their mothers would do so they are dirty because you are keeping them as a pet.
I really enjoy watching your videos. The connection you all have is beautiful and helps to remind me that love still lives in the crazy world we all live in. Thank you for sharing your monkkid.
Hi friend, I get that you have no context to place your judgements however I hope in the future you will actually know what you're talking about before you speak. His mom is very much alive and doing amazing. I know this because we are still in contact with the family that has raised her troop since rescuing them from pharmaceutical companies that provide the medicine you probably use.
@@MonkeyZeusLife you're encouraging and normalizing non human primates as pets. Keeping them from their real families. I'll retract my murdered for poaching. But he still isn't with her. Which is where he should be. Or with a troop depend8mg on his age. Do you know how many studies have been done, and all conclude, no "pet" monkey is not damaged in some way? Psychological, emotional, physical even when the "owners" are as well intentioned as possible. When the monkeys are loved like their own children? You aren't his mom. You chose to take him/buy him from her "rescuer". Which I'm gonna question because, to date, no legitimate rescue makes pets out of lab monkeys. None. I'll do research, as you so spitefully suggested. I doubt you'll like the results. Any additional information you wanna give? Name of the lab? Name of the "rescue" ...not individual names, the organization. I'm not interested in doxxing anyone. How about your state so I can see what, if any, legislation is in place to protect non human primates? I'll give you my email if you'd rather not share the information publicly. Until I conclude my "education" based on the information available, my judgment, minus the above retractions, stays. I await your reply.
This poor baby monkey is not a pet and belongs in the wild with his mother. How pathetic that people continue to do these posts just to get views and exploit these animals. Shame on them.
It’s funny how you stop to take time to place judgment when the pharmaceutical medicines you take are all tested on primates… and let’s not forget the millions of acres of land these primates live on that are chopped down to make more room for the beef you consume. This primate will love 20+ years of a comfortable life bc of what these people are doing for it.
