Of course, this Chicago funk/fusion ensemble with Janis Wallin at the helm on bass and vocals was the driving force of Chicago's DIY music scene for most of the 2010s decade.
Watched this artist absolutely destroy the Mirimar in Milwaukee on the void sound system and I refuse to stop telling people about it lol give this man the visuals and the right speakers. Full out Tipper experience. ❤🔥
Same with us, it's home base! Met my wife at The Miramar back in the day, and more or less have built Instrumental Motion (video/streaming crew) out of that venue.
I caught the show in Chicago around this time. Similar setlist. KHB is such a fun show and a nice change of pace from the SCI experience. Plus Kyle is one of the funniest people you will find on Instagram. I wish more musicians were like him!
Man we used to see these guys when they came through town in Greenville nc when I was in college 99-2000... such a great band with great groove!! Glad to know they still playing they didn’t get the credit they deserve!
Althea Stir it up It Takes a lot to laugh It takes a train to cry Bird Song Valerie > Sugaree Hey Pocky Way Set 2 Scarlet Breathe Eyes of the World > NFA > He's Gone E. Mystery Train Shakedown
A little too slow tempo for my taste but I did actually like the slow version of Scarlet I never heard it done that slow that's something dead and company should try they don't even play it that slow but that actually worked.. Slowing down eyes of the world I found interesting not fade away and he's gone we're at typical tempo.. Sound and video great work as usual!
