How many people know that IDRA is a Chinese owned company?

Mega castihngs make little difference; they do make vehicles harder to repair. If next generation is so far of we do not even know what technology the system will use - then - it is more of a dream than a reality.

Of course they couldn't care less about their regular customers. All the models they are building are going to some rental company. You the customer have to wait another year. Feels good to be last doesn't it?

Sandy Munro et son équipe ont eu toutes les difficultés du monde à démonter le pack de batteries! Comment est-ce que pourront s’y prendre les recycleurs pour avoir accès à ces batteries tout en rentabilisant leurs efforts?
@TecnamTwin
@TecnamTwin 11 месяцев назад
The only thing I greatly disagree with here is the mischaracterization of the recyclability of batteries. More than 97% of lead acid batteries are currently recycled so we know it's possible. And although only ~5% of batteries in general are recycled, automotive-grade lithium ion batteries are up to 95% recyclable according to the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) - an Australian government agency, NOT 4%.

Isn't it about time they made a solid-state battery with an electrolyte made out of graphene? as it's a great medium for transmitting an electric current, In fact, as far as I know, it's the best as most solid-state batteries I've seen or heard of if they are still having to dampen down the solid electrolyte to get it the current to flow so it's not really a solid state and that's why they are getting tendrils or dendrills spikes I like to call them I do think some people are trying to make a graphene battery in Australia I think so I hope it works and they find a cheap way to manufacture graphene out of natural gas I am hearing not exactly green but if it's not being released into our air then it's green or dumped on our lands or sea then its a good thing fingers crossed that's the case.

The main reason that batteries will win out over hydrogen is that hydrogen has a negative EROI (energy returned on investment) of 1 to 5. That is one gets 1 unit of equivalent energy of hydrogen for every 5 units of energy input. An energy source of less than 10 to 1 (getting 10 units of energy for every 1 unit of energy input) is considered to be below the threshold needed for an industrial society. Renewable electricity is ~20 to 1, petroleum is ~14-20 to 1, and Canadian tar sand oil is ~3 to 1.

Mass media intelligently inspired me of Toyota was committed to Hydrogen fuel before Tesla existed. Hydrogen out of splitting water into H and O with nuclear energy. That explains why Toyota is not enthusiastic about EV.

It’s pretty obvious why Tesla are so far ahead. America has this awesome Canadian consultant who knows the Automotive Industry along with much more and Tesla sought out his wisdom, evaluated his advice and went with it. The other American Automotive companies consulted the same consultant but decided that they didn’t work that way and they wanted to capitalise on their obsolete stock, and old component parts and equipment … they are stuck in the past while Tesla have found out how to improve their product regularly in to please their market … Toyota and Japan have lost their way and Korea is showing them up now. I’d. More likely buy Korean EVs over Japanese products and I’m half Japanese … unless of course I could afford a Tesla …

Hydrogen: Refill stations explode. This is NOT a memory of the Hindenburg. This is the reality of Hydrogen *today*. It really IS Rocket Science -- and even NASA has problems with hydrogen leaks every day. You CAN NOT make that an everyday consumer product. People can't even maintain their ICE cars.

Just in case anyone was wondering, Toyota has always been lying about their Solid State Battery. They don't actually have one. Lab samples don't count. Note that they just announced their first full EV Lexus for 2024. Toyota will NOT be making the battery. As I said, Toyota has never had a Solid Stat Battery. Pure smoke & mirrors.

LG Chem and SK Innovation produce more expensive, less reliable, more fire prone, shorter cycle life, and slower to produce lithium ion ternary pouch cell batteries compared to the LFP and more stable, safer, and cheaper chemistries and form factors made by CATL, BYD, Gotion High Tech, Tesla, Our Next Energy, American Battery Factory, IM3NY, and many others. Over time, mainstream consumers will realize this

Sandy munro see reality. Hey sandy to break down why we never see A.I. Self driving, it's really quite simply. It's a thing we human have. It's called vision anticipation. Of what we see is loading up ahead so we slow down and can see that guy creeping up to come out on to infront of you and we also see why on the opposite side a whole line of cars are coming. And good thing we slow down cause he just gas it across to go that way. A software make the decession after the sensor see that car but he onto the road. They are many example of we can anticipate beyond the car infront we can see. The sensor just read the car in front. And will gas it after that car turn right into stopped cars.

Dear Sandy Monro, I really like what you do. I see you breaking down this stuff great work. But when you say Vtol is in the future, indeed electric cars, I wonder if you have looked into the cost of providing the infrastructure for so many of us to continue to run around in vehicles when if you’d like to save energy and resorces, we really should simply stop traveling! I love driving, but as the prices of everthing worthwhile go’s up, I feel, the cost of providing roads will proove too high to continue. Not sustainable…… I’d like to hear your take on this….

Mercedes EQXX has solid state batteries by ProLogium. One single charge goes up to 1150 km, and it's lighter and smaller. News will come in early April.. This is the breakthrough we are waiting for. Then Tesla is doomed when everyone else except Tesla is investing their money in solid state 🔋

If long range driven cars are not required and our daily travel need is just few miles then why you and your company is trying to find better performance battery technology and rapid charging and many charging stations. Near to me future technology is very simple and requires no big charging stations standing on road sides...
