What a self-aggrandized windbag this guy is. Have dealt with him directly and would strongly suggest you steer well clear as he has a bad habit of sharing private consignor information.

Meissen porcelain, prized for its fine quality and exquisite design, has been produced since the early 18th century in Germany. Here is a collection of rare early Meissen porcelain pieces that reflect the craftsmanship and artistry of the time: 1. Meissen Blue Onion Teapot: This teapot features the famous Blue Onion pattern, originally inspired by Chinese porcelain designs. It is decorated with intricate blue and white floral motifs and is a rare and highly sought-after piece among collectors. 2. Meissen Figurine Group "The Four Seasons": This intricately detailed figurine group represents the four seasons - Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. Each figure is beautifully painted and sculpted, capturing the essence of each season in intricate detail. 3. Meissen Porcelain Platter with Kakiemon Decoration: This porcelain platter is decorated with a Kakiemon-style floral motif in vibrant colors. The Kakiemon style was popular in the 18th century and is known for its intricate designs and bold colors. 4. Meissen Porcelain Böttger Tea Caddy: This tea caddy is made of Böttger porcelain, an early type of Meissen porcelain that was developed by Johann Friedrich Böttger, the inventor of European porcelain. It is a rare and valuable piece that showcases the early craftsmanship of Meissen porcelain. 5. Meissen Porcelain Monkey Band Figurine: This whimsical figurine features a group of monkeys playing musical instruments. It is a rare and charming piece that showcases the humor and creativity of Meissen porcelain artists. These rare early Meissen porcelain pieces are highly coveted by collectors for their historical significance and exquisite craftsmanship. They are a testament to the enduring beauty and artistry of Meissen porcelain.

Absolutely Beautiful! Just like my opinion, when we look at great works of art, one really never notices how the frame of the art piece, compliments the piece. God Bless!😇🙏

It’s quite possible that it was carved in the Gothic style by a later monk. The mounts certainly aren’t 14th century. I’m dubious.

Gosh! How amazing is that, if not about a rather silly pop painting up for sale but of the connective alumni that accrues from its charming chortling subject matter's story? Who'd of known the famous Marat of David's iconic French Revolutionary masterpiece had been a student at the University of St. Andrews? Didn't HRH Prince William attend also where he met his future princess? Perhaps, Colbert might consider painting the two royals in a bath together just to 'paint connections' again in his painterly amusing manner. 🙂

i think i have the first porcelain created in the english speaking world. its a figurine of kitty clive. mold no 135, and initials in the fold of her dress a t and f jointed. ive seen the later clive figurine, the same posture and hair style. instead of a dog she holds a fan. she is also painted with a flesh color, the tip of her right foot peeks from her dress. lastly, a huge vent hole in the bottom. extremely heavy.

Love the way at 2:03 he says in the tasting "Pears" and then immediately qualifies that with "Tinned Pears" which, as far as this whisky is concerned wonderfully upgrades cheap tinned syrupy fruit above fresh fruit. Clearly, it's a huge "Hooray" for tinned pears. Which reminds me ~ I have a quantity of tinned peaches well past their sell-by-date bought at the start of Covid by way of stocking up during a run on supermarket shortages. I wonder if in the tasting of my old peaches whether there'll be poetry to be spoken as Charles has beautifully eulogised, sadly bespeckled it has to be said rather than eccentrically monocled, in his RU-vid ad for Lyon & Turnbull ~ even so, so eloquently performed upon his tasting of this new very intriguing ‘The Intrepid World Record Whisky’ soon up for auction at Lyon & Turnbull. Thirty-two years in the barrel you say? That's amazing. My peaches have only been in the tin for about two or so years ~ nevertheless, deserving reverence, perhaps, of opening and a tasting for their 'ageing in the tin' don't they? After all, Charles may qualify his whisky tasting in future of the vintage and taste of 'tinned pears' or any tinned fruit be it past the tinned fruit's sell-by-date which of tinned fruit sell-by-dates might have a bearing on the enduring subtlety for descriptive tasting of whisky ~ will it not? And, again what "tinned pears" did the intrepid world renowned whisky tasting taster Charles MacLean have in mind ~ tinned fruit of Fortnum's, M&S, or the Germanic Aldi and Lidl's where I'm inclined to find my preferred shopping tastes? 🙂

What a distinctive of its quirky colourising charmful work abeit for its depiction of war is this painting? Am drawn to the nature of children oblivious it seems to their refugee status chasing, playing, still being children. Should be in the Nationl Gallery or Imperial War Museum collections.

The book scultures some might read as a quaint process of time-consuming vandalism of books of the anonymous nature of a Banksy appearing as they did as of a mystery and though they are superior to that said much regarded vandal nevertheless need to be displayed in dust inhibiting and exposure to light yellowing of the paper glass covered cases.
