Mine has messed up. It stays a little warm, I'm thinking it's heated up to dump ice. But it doesn't stop being warm in the actual ice tray. I need to take it apart like you did
@@djnemesis82pluss1877 I'll try your idea tomorrow if it's broken the same way. Tonight I did the diagnostics test. Pressed auto fill, ice and water at the same time, opened a tech menu. Choose option 99, then pressed the light button. This cycled the ice maker, the prongs lifted but no ice of course, then the paddle for ice level extended but never retracted. I'll open it tomorrow and see if it's broken
I opened my unit up, broken just like yours. I put a screw in, the gear rotated around and finally stopped. The .motor was hot from turning that heat with no end. Now it's back on the track. I haven't heard any water yet or ice making starting.
Looks good, I want those templates! I bought a 12-volt mini split off of AliExpress for $400 and been using it for a year. I've got 2, 200 amp hour lithium batteries it's awesome. But I love the hidden window shaker.
Dude, I feel like such an idiot! I hot a Apex a few months ago. I had it installed with a bumper. When the install was done they didn't give me the instructions or any info for the winch. So the otherday I needed it and cldnt get it to work wirelessly. I ended up using the wired attachment. Since then I've tried everything to figure this out. Of course the last resort was U Tube. Well in the 1st cple minutes of your video was the answer. Since my winch is installed in the bumper, you really can't see the plug for the wired connection. After watching the 1st cple minutes of your video You said something about turning the remote switch on! OMG, wow, of course it has a switch to turn that on! Thanks for the video and hope everyone else finds your video helpful!
Hey man just want to say thanks for putting this video up - I just fixed mine the same way after watching this. I used some very fine fishing braid wrapped around the brush wire to keep the brush retracted while fitting. Very fiddly but it worked. Thanks again!!
Hey thanks! I’ve been avoiding this repair because I hadn’t taken to time to find a fix… for over a year. My grandad used that method on boats, cars, docks etc. and the red loctite was on my mind too. Great video!
That's some good shit right there. I'm thinking about buying a cyclone that has had the door rebuilt and its heavy AF so thinking about rebuilding with some aluminum
Not sure but the dealership kept trying to tell me at least one of the sensors was in the tank. But I think they were just trying to keep me from doing it myself
Thanks for your time to upload this video!Im having hard time to find one on eBay or at the dealership for 2011 same as yours! Can you help sharing the supplier please
This was an pain in the ass to change. The one at the bottom. I did it today on an 2018 escape 1.5. I didn't have the space you have because the intake is made different. The engine is a real piece of shit. I was doing it for a friend of mine but never again. Horribly made engine. Way worse than Mercedes. I spent an hour trying to get a tool on the sensor to turn it. It was very hard to do.
If you lose your remote & just run into HF & you're in a hurry, or have a winch mounted where it's hard to access to swap the controller mated to the remote.... the kit HF sells now, comes with a new remote and an adapter that simply plugs in where the wired remote plugs in... ready to winch right away... you can always swap it out internally later when you have time.
I’m sure u could but probably won’t help much. U would have to pack it very full of grease and then hope the cap pushes it threw when u put it on.probably just make a mess. It’s not hard to drill and tap the cap
BROTHER!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! This is the only video that helps fix my problem. Now I can get it done and be done with this falling door handle.😅 God bless you man.
It wasn't only just about the ad,that was bad enough. It was the way their customers were portrayed as "frat boys." Don't bite the hand that feeds you!
@@mariosaccoccio1688 Nope...will never understand cancel culture bigots....you're right. Ew gays are icky icky yucky so I am going to pretend they groom kids to really make them hurt and go away in society. Grow the F up.
