THANKS for stopping by... RU-vid degrades the quality so much, that it's just sad to see what's left.... So if someone wants to work on a specific project - contact me for raw footage. Don't waste your time with the bloody rips :)
i literally never see anyone talk about how AMAZING this song is when talking about ok computer. idk why people don’t like this song more. ppl said it ‘didn’t have a place on the album’ because it’s essentially a rock song but i think it fits really well especially bc of the fact it uses the metaphor of politics and i mean the rest of the album does have political undertones 🤷♀️ idk me personally i love this song
I like this version so much because the main melody (which is played by a guitar in the studio version) is played by another instrument that makes it sound so sweet and cute, like a music box!
It barks at no one else But me Like it's seen A ghost I guess it's seen the sparks A-flowin' No one else Would know Hey man, slow down Slow down Idiot, slow down Slow down Sometimes I get overcharged That's when you See sparks They ask me where the hell I'm going? At a thousand feet per second Hey man, slow down Slow down Idiot, slow down Slow down Hey man, slow down Slow down Idiot, slow down Slow down
The reason we listen to sad music is a question that eats at us, why would we humans, such empathetic creatures purposely make ourselves feel sad, down and glum? A lethargic feeling is released when we cry, that singular moment when the tear drops from our eye to the earth below, that "interstellar burst", is a human way of saying: I'm here, I'm not perfect, but I'm me. The day we stop listening to sad songs is the day we are truly lost, with no means of freedom. The moment we stop confronting the parasite that is eating our very souls, is the moment most deserving of sadness.
I intensely dislike that frckn Warren Ellis. he's white washed Nick Cave. Nick's original version of this song has SOUL..!!! this is very pretty. it wouldn't offend your granny. sigh.
This show <3 I was at university in Newfoundland, Canada, skipped all my classes for ticket onsale day, recruited half of my dorm to help watch WASTE for the drop (the band's presales back then had NO posted time, only the day), and somehow got 2 tickets. Flew to NY, spent all of show day in line with some lovely people, and listened to soundcheck with my ear glued to the Roseland walls. Managed to get second row for such a special gig, and this video captures the energy so well, thanks so much to everyone involved!
