I know there is a tipping point where debris starts to bypass the canister when it gets too full. What I don't get is why use more flour in the bins than the bucket can hold? Why go through the effort to color the flour? I also would have used one vac and three filters for the test. Please tell me you didn't return the three vacs to Home Depot for a credit.
You better have a woman like this if you homestead or you will be worn out doing it all yourself. My wife does no repairs. Plays supervisor and then calls every tool a thingy.
ChatGPT3 says that a heat gun works just as well as propane in popping bubbles in epoxy with less risk of scorching and discoloration, but might take a little longer. I prefer heat gun because to me, it's safer.
I've seen this idea before but you want to get something thin enough that it can magnet in hard between your dogs and not move around on you while you cut
You can get 5 acres in the middle of nowhere for about 15,000 and a chainsaw mill is about 400$. Honestly IDK how people pay rent, you may as well burn money.
I think you made a big mistake, and let the collectors get more then half full, after that i does not work ok. Make the same test by using just the half of the capacity and it will work fine
Great video, love the effort, helps the community. I was so distracted by your misuse of the word electrocuted. You are still alive, so you were shocked, not electrocuted.
Build a plate rack over the sink. I did that with mine and added a light you turn on and off with a hand wave underneath. Mine was very wide, so you could not buy one to fit.
First: get out the manuels and read it and use it while setting up the shopsmith. Learn to plan your wirk so you dont have to keep switching back and forth.
"Respectfully, these dust collectors were made for sawdust and wood chips, not flour. So this test didn't prove anything meaningful to me, as a woodworker." Well said by Atomiczombie, and I agree with it.
Poor maintenace due to GREED 100 percent. Do you know how wealthy the Collings family is? Robert F alone worth $10M and skims $300K/yr off the foundation. The wealthy do not care about human life only $$$. F the Collings Foundation
Direct your ire at the Collings Foundation. You don't get to indict everyone who has made money. Serious maintenance malpractice involved in the 909 crash. Having the Chief Pilot as Director of Maintenance is a huge conflict of interests that should never happen. There was clear lack of oversight from the Directors at Collings and the FAA.
