Why is it driven with a gearbox 24VDC motor, and not double 400w 48v as others do? What are the advantages. But so far seems like a bulletproof concept

14 years ago gea didn't what to install this system in our parlor. They told me there global system was just as good . I wish I didn't listen to them now we have to update because the cows can't get in normal anymore
Hi Brett - DairyPlan is still the core management software we use at GEA. Though some of these new products run on independent systems so you can quickly get the info you need. Software is constantly evolving, and more integration will be possible in the future. Feel free to discuss your dairy's situation with your GEA dealer or local GEA sales representative.

My machine has been messing up for 6 months now and I can’t get the dealer who sold it to use to come work on it and on top of that they can’t even fix it bc they don’t know how to work on it. So even day I have to stand at the machine to keep it Runing to feed them.
Your comment made me laugh. As soon as an animal enters the Platform, the Robot attaches. It does wait until the prior one is done. So the Animals/h only depend on how many animals enter the system/hour.
@@dasistjetztso1145 Go to gea milfos website .in new Zealand a 50 point rotary there can do 300 cows hr because attachment is every 10 secs . Unfortunately for gea the robot rotary has not taken off because its too slow🙈
Hi Richard - great question. Based on cow ID, you can program the system so that the robot will know which quarter is blind on that particular cow and therefore, there is no need to attach to that teat - but the remaining quarters will be milked properly.
The GEA robot module was engineered for adaptability. Currently the same module is used for box robots and rotary parlors - but in the future that module can be available for walk-through parlors as well as other configurations as the technology and robotic demands grow. We'll be excited to share more with customers when the time comes!
