I was trolling a deep diving Berkley Crankbait behind my kayak between two points for Bass. The depths were between 15-20 feet with a rocky bottom. This monster crappie tagged the crap out of it. A definite surprise when I reeled it in.
It's always tuff losin one that you are sure is a good one! That last catch seemed like it made up for that first loss! Another good day out on the water brother! 💜
The ones you landed made up for the ones you missed. It’s frustrating to have a nice one break off, I feel your pain! I’m going to try my luck on Lanier tomorrow. Its been tough fishing recently but I managed a few nice ones. This time of year can produce some quality fish. Thanks for the video!
Tough day on Lanier today. Caught 3 spots. 2 were small about 12/13 inches and 1 was 17 inches approximately 3lbs. All were caught on a shakey head. Tried topwater but no luck.

Haha, that sux!!!!! Yea I can relate. I took my boat to Laurel Park, backed it into the water, parked my truck. Then I couldn't crank my boat cause I left the key at home 🤪
this happened to a crap 1 time I was 13-14 didn’t know at the time that carp are nasty eating fish if there aren’t cooked right, I felt bad so i tried to eat it haven’t eaten fish sense😂
