I really miss this sound. I remember I was pulling an all nighter on my 12th birthday slumber party, and they were playing a rerun of the Leafs Caps game that night (cause I’m a Leaf fan). I hadn’t caught the game so I watched the whole thing, and the organ music was the thing I remember the most oddly enough. It had a really nice sound to it. Shame on the Capitals organization for letting him go.
I made all my reservations to see the Islanders Capitals game on March 15!! I’ll be traveling down to Washington DC from Long Island on Amtrak. I’ve always loved Bruce Anderson when I hear the Capitals organ on TV. He’s great at what he does. Looking forward to the game!! Just saw that yesterday the Capitals are discontinuing live organ music. Not a fan of that decision…
It would be awesome if he plays "Na na hey hey kiss him goodbye" when the opponents have possession in the closing moments of Mystics, Wizards & Capitals wins.
? It's classless and disrespectful for the Caps fans to be cheering for their team on the Portrait Gallery steps? I'm not following you. Also, it's a game, trash talk and gloating by fans who had no actual relevance in the outcome of the game aren't generally held to a standard of class and respect, that's for the guys on the ice, then again, I'm not from the Mistake by the Lake, so maybe it's different up there! Good luck to the Browns this decade!
