Once the Franks had a strong leader they were the GERMANIC TOP DOGS AGAIN and ended the Vikings in Europe. Otton the Great a Frankish emperor menaced to invade Viking land i they didn't convert..and convert they did. Hollywood depicts the Franks as weakling as in facts Vikings didn't really have open battles against them.
Actually, the Franks did pretty good even in the series: they were the real first threat Ragnar had ever faced. Then yes, Ragnar had deceived them, but the Franks played their cards correctly and snatched Rollo away from him.

Ни у одного из них в фильме нет на головах шлемов. Я давно уже заметил, что в американском псевдоисторическом кино-дерьме режиссёры не любят изображать воинов в шлемах. Возьми любой "исторический" Фильм - там все герои не носят шлемов... Бред.

Rollo was never fit to be Jarl or King of kattegat. He was to inpacient. He could never wait or listen to his enemies before striking them. Ragnar in season 1-2 always listen, try to learn from all perspectives. Rollo rushed into combat all the time. Ragnar is a better ruler. At this point he was sick. If Athaelstan lived Ragnar would never die. In my opinion Ragnar died when Athalstaen died.
I stopped watching because I got tired of the always one-sided battles (reality wasn't like that) and the same head-down eyes-up angry look. even the weaving while standing looked like how an angry meth head reacts when they are on a trip. Nice to see them getting handled.
I see a thin lady with 1kg of back eyeliner among the Vikings, I put a dislike to the movie (not the video). Not her fault, just the producers being deceitful ideologs.
Idiotic dumb af scene.. I felt like this was a man in a bear suit fighting Bjorn. It felt like a comedy.. Like that one man wearing bear costume fighting a man commercial. A real bear would have clawed, swiped, bitten and mangled the ever living shit out of any man. Even if the bear dies, the man would have broken bones and fractures.. not a a freaking “scratch” that Bjorn cauterizes later. Tf? Did this show quit trying anymore or did they think the audience are tards?
