@@Lord_Bibulous I stand by what I said. There have been hundreds of players better than Jeter. What are you basing it on? Hits? titles? (he is no where near won the most). Statistically he is one of the worst shortstops in history of baseball. He is a hall of famer and deserves to be there, but he is not an immortal.
@@t206kid You can stand by what you said. It just comes off as ridiculous by people who actually watched him play and watched the game. Especially when you contradict yourself. Hall Of Famer (1st Ballot) but not an "immortal". I'm basing my opinion on his career numbers, his overall play, his consistency during that play and what he meant to his team. *ESPECIALLY IN THE PLAYOFFS.* Which is where legacies are really made. It's as simple as that.

As a Mets fan I hated this guy, but as a Mets fan a respected him! NY is the hardest city in the world to make it, fans and media turn on you in a heartbeat, this guy was a leader and a role model for his entire career here.
