This is my gaming channel where I will post videos and streams on the games I play. Primary Game right now is Empires and Puzzles, where I am a co-lead in Disciples of Scorpius. Featuring gameplays from the perspective of a top20 alliance in the game, hero breakdown, summons, war and raid tournaments.
Moving forward, there will be additional games uploaded here, my side career in Scrabble. Perhaps some MTG Arena? Come check it out!
Probably the best way to deal with her is to start the battle with an auto taunt hero and some other heroes that start either with the reflect ailments or the ailments immunity buff.Chang'e, Craum and The Hatter are probably better to reflect the debuff back to her.She looks great but i don,t think she will replace Vanya as the best tank in rush. Also her talent doesn't provide any protection against mindless attack.
You can prevent her with Gazelle, Odile, or any dance hero on defense. Her dispel will not work if heroes are dancing. Shift mindless attack is also a great way to slow her down. I agree she is nasty on rush, but do you really want to chace a very slow hero just for rush??? That is 2 wars every 5 weeks. Honestly not worth in my opinion. She will get destroyed on any other type of war. I really don’t see the cost benefit. Most rush wars are won/lost in the first 3-4 moves anyway.
@@AndrewGaming92 yeah, I agree. They will come…but like you said, if she is too OP they will nerf or come up with a counter by releasing another hero… typical SG strategy!! 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️💸💵
Sooo... I'm guessing that 60% chance of breaking free basically means 95% for defense and less than 20% for offense. Kinda like insanity and dodges, etc.
What’s the point of staying in diamond anyway? I tried to kill 4 heros and escape to loose every raid. I only win when path of valor or giant requires some win. I fill my defense with leveling heros, so I can comfortably stay in silver or gold. That way filling chest or doing path of giants only takes a seconds.
@@10051984pj would be interesting then because Narcisa doesnt trigger Erlang. It may mean Toon Richards -24% attack down is not considered the same class as Erlang's attack down debuff
@@AndrewGaming92 in my oppinion it has to be a regular dd/att down that replaces. Nothing that scales trough turns or hits. But it also might be a bug that needs a fix. Also I take notice who I hit when I test, because some heroes might dodge/ resist trough class/passive skills
@@10051984pj I'm of differing opinion actually. From my vid, Morel (regular ddown) failed to trigger Starwalker, similar to how Narcisa failed to trigger Erlang. I have another video I am working on depicting just how bad this changes are impacting the heroes but I do believe that it takes a whole different classification of ailment to trigger the secondary effect. An example would be if they had retained the beta version of Costume Frigg (when she gave scaling attack down ailment) to trigger Erlang's secondary effect, just as how Pepperflame/Pophit is triggered by Domiventus/Tinsel respectively. Hence, my curiosity on why Toon Richard's attack down ailment could trigger Erlang. Could it be that it is because of Toon Richard's -24% attack down being a different class as opposed to the -34% attack down ailment provided by Narcisa?
My fellow gamers, crying about Small giant. This isnt the first time theyve done this. Is a scummy dirty tactic that they'll keep doing over and over to drain all ur money. I quit over a year ago and i could nt be happier that i dont play this shit game anymore.
Thanks for all the added content Andrew! Other ways to trigger Starwalker are Athena, she is like Tinsel with a different DD type. Other than that Snow White is the only other blue, but she is slow😢
If I like you had not been affected I'd probably feel the same but not only were you not affected as your Erlang is paired with the opera hero, you're benefiting in most buffs. It the same bait and switch. Nothing to do with balance. Between Garten and my 2 pepper and pophit they've wrecked half my teams. And Pepper CMarjana Pophit C Morel don't trigger so you're wrong. Already blocked purchases last month after the Garten nerf. Total bs.
Watch till the end for my correction on secondary effects not triggering from same class affects. Well, the Garten shaft was really bad, that much I admit. And yes, while I am happy that I am not part of the parade of Pophit, PF and SW teams that got affected, I truly am happy that they buffed costumes of older heroes. A lot of people seem to think that I'm not affected by the nerf when it affects my alliance wars a lot. That much is a team game after all.
@@AndrewGaming92 Yeah true nobody on that team does any damage really. I've seen it played with Shacklebolt a few times. I run DF, Valhalla, Ludwig, Pipes & Mariol but might try Xiong in Vashallis spot for the mana gen.
The change needed to happen. Once you got up to around Top 20 in War, every defense had at least 2 of these Equalizer style heroes. You won or lost depending on how few dead tiles you had while making your matches. If you had a cascade go off while you didnt have ailment protection, you lose the match. There isnt much strategy going on.
Thanks for your analysis Andrew. I read this update more or less the same way as you do. In my opinion, I cannot understand why folks would spend all those resources, and money and then be surprised that SG would do something like this. It is not the first time, and it will not be the last. I have Erlang Shen and Fizzcoil who have been affected, but I also have 6 other heroes who also received buffs. I do not, and never have leveled up multiple copies of a 5*, and I won't unless they're really special. My playstyle is based on a more traditional style, which has always been the same. Defense down, elemental defense down, dispel/cleanse, attack up, and a big hitter. As with everything, if you get a poor board, and nothing comes up within 3 moves, you've lost. Conversely, if you get a good board, and you shut up the most dangerous enemy, you have a better than 80% chance of winning.
Hey buddy, thanks for the summary video. Just so you know, you cannot overnight the Pepper, Pophit, SW or Erlang at all. It doente matter if you use another hero that has the same effect. Only if the defense cleans the defense down within the turns it will trigger the effect. Christine D after Erlang or Pepper and C Marana will not work.
Your tone will be very different if you have maxed 4 copies of Pophit, 3 copies of Pepperflame, 1 copy of Starwalker, 1 copy of Erlang. At least they should have the decency of giving reset tokens for those who have heavily invested in these heroes for their attack mechanism! My final wake-up call! Time to start another game.
My stance will not change (considering I also have Erlang). The game needs something different than just dealing with Pophit, Pepperflames and Starwalkers. I have pity for those who spend so much to get those (i truly do), but the same people have been complaining about how oppressive those are in equalizer wars. Im happy with the buffs if it brings variety back, thats all.
@@AndrewGaming92 elrangs been trash due to stats. I don't disagree that they are everywhere. However erlangs mechanic has been out for a long time now. They then release several more heros in the same fashion. People spend. Then to not give aether resets is the joke. They completely change the meta overnight -- then ignore those that have spent to try and keep up with this mess of a game. Why would they not change the exploit on release of erlang and the complaints then? Seems quite money hungry imo.
@@crashlandon79 Erlang is getting a costume. They did this so he is not way too strong once costume is out knowing how many players have double Erlangs. That’s why. His stats are going to be very good again very soon.
@@claythorgaming yeah maybe. Also the new dance heroes will deal 1500 damage when dance ends. So those combined would be way strong. And I'm sure they want people pulling for the new heroes.
Pepperflame et al are not working with any defense down, Pepperflame + ccMarjana is not triggering the effect... same with Starwalker + Morel, or other duos like that... Don't know if is intended or is a bug, but is not working, so be careful planning ahead... Pophit and Starwalker works with Tinsel and Athena, Pepperflame works with Sun Shangxiang, besides de dancing effects.
Hey there Andrew,i don't know if you have her but Becky works very good against Odile as tank.Unless she dodges she will slow down every hero in her team .
Andrew, really enjoyed your play! What do you suggest I use to attack a war opponent with a full team of toons? I do have 4 attack teams consisting of double Pepperflame, Pophit and Starwalker :)
Try health reduction heroes like Smartongue or Garten.they usually are slower teams if they use Vivica as tank. You might want to go for goblins or if you have Guardian Elephant o wither them down.Unfortunately all those powerful heroes you have will probably get resisted. You got to plan for a long fight.
