“Actually” and “honestly” are words you shouldn’t have to reference as the thinking would be the author would not be telling us actually and honestly in his review.
The first two years (94-95) of the sn-95 Mustang still has the 5.0 with functional vents. 96 to 98 sn-95 has the 4.6 2 valve with no functional vents for some reason.
This is 2024 and I just bought a '97 Z71 from a guy who had it since 1998. Has 212,000 miles. It still has the original exhaust and he had never changed spark plugs or wires. Runs great. I live in Oregon and you will NEVER get one of these for 1000 bucks here. Of course, this one has no rust since salt isn't used on the roads. I paid 5K it and that's a deal.
I bought my 2008 v6 grabber orange in 09 with 45k on it currently it has 156k on it. Its my daily. Keep getting notes left on my car from people who wanna buy it. Mechanics keep find OEM parts as I get it fixed/maintenance. The funniest I forgot to change spark plugs, so changed those 3 years ago from 2008.
Hey Ant! Watched a couple of vids of yours! Really like them, I watch tons of car reviews as I'm just that addicted to them; you remind me of my favourite reviewer, @MilesPerHr, I feel like you have a similar nice narration. 3 minor quirks that could help get better quality: - POV Camera position: there's a lot of headliner showing, you need to figure out how to lower that view, there a reviewer (from the many I watch) called Tedwards, he has a video on "How I record POV videos" give that a watch, it shows how of the big channels record them. - Microphone: There's a lot of "drone" which is just the average cabin noise, your voice is good, but that could be a bit jarring? Just a thought - Show the car: I know you make more in depth videos separate! But wouldn't hurt to do a quick walk around at the beginning, plug your other video too, might as well direct traffic to the other video as well. (Edit: just saw you plugged the full in-depth review, so ignore that haha) Hope this doesn't sound like I'm just criticising, there more car reviewers, the better for me haha, would love to be able to do this as job. I'll keep an eye this channel! Enabled notifications :)
the shifting pattern comes from motorsport. BMW and Alfa Romeo are the only ones using the +- in the correct order actually. Easy thing to get confused about though - since only two companies are using it this way :)
I just got a 06 pathfinder with the V6, praying they’re as good as everyone says, this will hopefully be my first car on the road as I had people scam me with my last two, so far tho I will say I absolutely love it, the misses would prefer some more creature comforts as normally so would I but I love it. It’s a truck at heart that is for sure
@@AdamRichCaraan we have replaced the front passenger side wheel bearing at 208,000 miles and two front control arms and their bushings at 245,000 miles. Nothing major in the suspension beyond that and neither one was a big deal or super expensive. Pretty typical I think for high mileage cars like our 2007 SE.
Why not? A modern "banger" for a traditional hot rod, a replacement engine for s10's and similar size blazers. As he said, a Miata ,MG TR 4-6, Ford Ranger, any small pickup, Jeeps, etc. transplant. The possibilities are phenomenal!
A guiness Record Holder ?? the L15 engine is KOMPLETE JUNK. All contrary Bleats notwithstanding. This THE worst Engine that Honda has Ever built. ALL one has to do is see one of thiese POS engines taken apart. They are of Appalling design and construction... period
I took it to an upholstery shop and got both sides done for a very reasonable price. I tried gluing it myself, bought a replacement soft "leather" panel and some hard plastic ones, and they didn't work at all. So that was wasted money, plus what I spent on the spray adhesive.
Great review! I have the exact same car with a few bolt ons, 680 to the wheels with very little effort. I have owned 7 mustangs in the past 3 of the Shelby's. The 2014 is by far my favorite, the LAST American muscle car!
Have a 2005 GT convertible with a manual. Bought it in 2018 with 36k for 10,900 dollars. It is a quite nice car and after 6 years of ownership had to do the ac compressor, front brakes because of a warped rotor and tires and battery. it is 19 years old yet it shows quite nicely. Currently at 55k and runs like new. Had a Crown Vic with the 4.6 and it was bullet proof. Suggest if you get this year make sure it is a manual. The auto used the transmission from the Exploder.
I would love to hear the car. Thank you for the video. But, please stop rambling. You actually gave me a headache because you would not shut the fuck up.
I have this car and it is quite reliable. Have the sport model, has the nicer wheels and brakes. Bought mine off lease in 2020. Had to replace coil springs so far, that’s it. Have a really good local import mechanic. That’s what you need with these. You gotta buy a Mercedes in silver or black. Those are the 2 iconic colours. Mine is black. Buy off lease, they’re actually way more reliable that way as Mercedes discovers all the problems with them and remedies them. Anyway, my mom had an E class and it was riddled with problems, all the import mechanics I know love this generation of C Class, aka the W205. Keep up on service intervals (even be early on it) and they are super reliable. At least that’s my experience.
Always look at the Nissan 3rd Generation pathfinders if one is parked up if out walking, love the boxy shape and truck like styling. Hope to own one one day soon. From MJK Wales August 2024. 🦅⚪✴️
