I think this here is my favourite Hayniss video EVER!! (Although I haven't seen all your videos yet, I suspect there are other gems, too.:3) What I enjoy most about it is that you created the emotional magic using the very simple editing technique of cutting the scenes into the right place and time, no fancy effects or eye-watering transitions. The result is so powerful! And the way you edited the song, it fits PERFECTLY! Boy, that kiss along the "second-hand smoke" line was something!:D I also love Katniss in her red dress at 0:59 - she looks shy and flirty here, instead of awkward and terrified as she actually was in the movie, the context changed everything! Seriously, thank you SO MUCH for making this! It made my day brighter and helped me overcome looming depression (real life is tough!). Silly lovely ships like this one are my lifeline. Makes me sad to see how many people make it their goal to bash other people's favourite ships because of whatever reason (noncanon, age gap, "unhealthy" etc) - come on, it's an imaginary relationship created by fans as a game, for fun! They are not supposed to be canon or even healthy (they are merely a playground to test your own emotional reactions to various things, sad things, too - why limit it to healthy sterilised blandness?), and the age gap is a matter of taste: it's not like Katniss underage or anything - she's played by a 23 y.o. actress and the character is definitely older than 18 years by the end of the book series (I haven't read the books). So I'm saying this to tell you to never let those people sap on your inspiration when you make content for this ship or any other! There are people, like me, who admire your work (even though they don't always take the time to let you know they exist:)).
Thank you so much! I loved reading your comment, thank you for taking the time to leave it. I'm so glad you like the editing style, I like to keep things simple :) I'm glad this video made your day brighter - that means a lot - it's lovely to know that something I've made can impact someone in that way. I hope you're well, sending you good wishes <3
Somerset must have had something going for him because his name was, during his youth, linked with Catherine of Valois, the mother of Henry VI. When he was older, he was suspected of having a romantic liaison with Margaret of Anjou, Henry VI's wife.
It’s a great video. I just don’t buy the attraction between the two of them. They seem to belong to worlds so far apart it just seems utterly impossible that they would feel drawn toward each other despite the obvious serious obstacles in the way.
Does Furio play soccer? I knew a lot of people in Tony's crew playing sports, Vito and Ralph play basketball, and Tony himself is also a semi-varsity athlete.
The unforgettable song, "Laura," with the unforgettable face of Justine Waddell as Tess. Superb idea for a creative musical video. Salud! to the maker.
Wow didn't expect that sound. But glad you played it. Big Bobby fan since Splish Splash and American Bandstand. But the harmony and lead vocals that was my thing from back in the day too. Love the Ambassadors!
The only she like ted is because he always agreed and praised her basically he kiss her bottom while don was the opposite he challenge her even scolded her at times ted treated her like she wanted don treater her like she should and she became more like him (don)
True, it was the opposite! But I do think Don was a little jealous of Ted before the Peggy affair when he observed Ted's management style: it was the opposite of his. Wearing warm colors and in shirtsleeves, he sat down with creative to brainstorm ideas.
Does anybody know when part of the love scene at 2:07 happens in the show? I've been rewatching it and only found the scene with Margaret on top of Somerset, kissing him. But the moment afterwards, where he seems to be atop her and she is facing downwards - am I just missing it every time?
1:13 THERE'S what I came hunting for. Was reading old reviews of that episode and needed to relive the moment when she walked in and at stunning outfit for no other reason than to blow Ted away. Cool choice of music, by the way. Never heard of this piece, but imagining her in that light gives Peggy yet another whole level
