If the "absolute better" always wins, the gasino loses money everytime. In order this betting system to work, they need to manipulate the game - there is no other way. Even the players don't know but the game "adjusts" their aims in one way or another, depending on the bets. Just think about this: If this shot had succedeed, noone would ever get surprised, would they? This is not about the game is "broken" sometimes. It IS on purpose.

i disagree actually. Djokovic levelling up in 2011 pushed rafa to improve his game on clay and hard courts and keep on dominating until 2022. I also think that Federer would not have won grand slams after 2010 if Djokovic and rafa didn't motivate him to keep striving
