What a beautiful sanctuary and an incredible story of love and dedication! Carol and her elephants are truly inspiring. I’m so excited to see more residents join the family. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming glimpse into their lives! Each day in this sanctuary is filled with moments that warm the heart and uplift the spirit. The gentle giants roam freely, their joyous trumpets echoing through the hills as they play and interact with one another. It’s a testament to the nurturing environment Carol has created, one that fosters not only recovery but also profound connections between the elephants and their caregivers. The bonds formed here are truly special; they reflect resilience and a shared journey of healing. Each story of an elephant that arrives overcome with fear or trauma unfolds into a tale of triumph and trust. As more residents join the family, I can only imagine the beauty of their stories merging, each one adding richness to the sanctuary’s narrative. It is so encouraging to see how the community rallies around these incredible creatures, promoting awareness and support for their needs. Knowing that each contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference fuels the hope for a brighter future for all elephants in need. I look forward to witnessing the continued growth of this sanctuary and the endless love that fills it!

This lady is jealous of anybody getting close to her elephant she’s hurting the elephant. She wants to hog him all to herself. She’s a selfish greedy woman. She’s not thinking of in the elephants best interest she won’t let the elephant make friends because she’s afraid the elephant may like somebody else more than her.😢

Some incredible footage. Those old growth tupelo cypress were completely baffling. I live by Okefenokee and have never seen anything even remotely close to that, if loggers didnt get them all the fires did. I definitely intend to explore Altamahah. Just sublime

Nice start...and thank you from the top to the bottom of my heart for what you have done...so far! However, I hope you have a vision for a larger elephant population there...as you well know elephants are herd animals. Both Tara and Bo would be so much happier with a few more elephant companions! You have the room, I hope you have access to the $$$ needed to support a larger herd there, and the will to go for it! Thank you for saving them both❤❤... ... ...ahh! later in this video I heard you say you have plans for 4 (?) more elephants...YEAH!

Fish dam at 15:35 probably NOT made by the Cherokee. Cherokee were not establish on this part of the Chattahoochee until well after the 1730s. The Cherokee did not populate the area until after the early 1800s when the Cherokee were more than likely to build gris mills than fish traps. Beside Fort Peachtree is how for from the above fish trap? What Native American group were in the area of Fort Peachtree when the fort was built? There was a Creek village at Fort Peachtree. GPBS documentaries about Atlanta, North Georgia and Peachtree Street support this about Creek village on the Chattahoochee River. Since the Creek once lived on both sides of the Chattahoochee, and since the Creek tribe has inhabited the Chattahoochee longer. The Creek tribe more than likely built the fish dam, Not the Cherokee. The Cherokee did not live in Georgia more than a hundred and probably less than a 100. They claim Georgia rivers above the Fall line in not navigable, but river river dredges have no problems pulling sand out of the rivers above the falling.

Wait a minute....'The coyotes are here in the SouthEast because 'We' as humans wiped out the Red Wolf'...' As humans, we extripated the Red Wolf' Now this is another exam of 'white lies'. Don't 'We humans wiped out..' when the truth is WHITE PEOPLE wiped out the Red Wolf! Stop whitewashing history to your benefit. Tell it like it is!

Coyotes are beautiful, but it is not to their benefit to live in the city. They should be caught and rehomed to wilder land. It is not fair to them to have to skulk around the human habitat. It prevents them from forming packs and living as they naturally would.

Greetings: Unique Ones, I truly honor this very powerful documentary. I just love these vultures and yes, they are connected to African Kemetic Spirituality (Aka Egypt) Culture. Like Auset and many others Neteru (Gods) as well. I know Vultures are one of the More Powerful Animals and very Special to us all. The Spirit Made them to Keep Things In Maat (Order), on this planet 🌍 earth daily. Remember they are doing Awesome Job to keep our environment clean daily. So they deserve high respect. Go Vultures 🦅 🦅 🦅 🦅💚👆🏾👁👑⚖️🏆💯🥇🥇🥇🥇💚 ☀️....

Similar gait to greyhound etc. The group of dogs thought to be the oldest. Although gaze hounds are not particularly good at problem solving and are not as intelligent as the coyote. Splendid creatures.

Wow! Mom's uncle (Mr Couch, a Security Guard in the civilian sector) said some of the work was for NASA. None of us believe it, because there wasn't available info on it. But this video confirms what he said. Anyways, Lockheed has been my playground for nearly 5 decades, above ground and inside underground structures. I love Dawson Forest.

We worked from the Dakotas to the Okefenokee in Ga. she and I. She was from the Smokies and I from the bay around Baltimore. We courted in the Smokies which were almost impenetrable in our time, 1960. We courted up there in the upper Smokies. If you do not know what courting is, look it up. Courting is different. We planned to live together, and we did for 60 years. When she passed, I was devastated. There is no way around it. She and I were paired forever. Both she and I taught in GA, but she was fired because no pregnant females were allowed to teach then. I miss her in the worst way.
