@@portiapeter7036 this video is on the BERNINA 990. Are you looking for the bernette 79? Here’s a tutorial:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gPgPvrC3YoY.htmlsi=Zc6mZSmF8euV7HxG
@@portiapeter7036 also consider searching bernette 79. There are tons of videos. And there are instructional videos on bernette.com plus bernette has their own RU-vid channel.
Do you have a tutorial for the b64 serger? I have the L890 that I love love love. But I wanted a sergerfor the room where I have my Bernina 570qee which is downstairs. My Bernina 790 plus is upstairs with the L890. I am a lucky girl!
I am seeing binding with walking foot and it keeps skipping stitches, I believe due to thickness of multiple fabric layers plus batting. How can I fix this?
Hello, thank you so much for this video, do you know how many cm we need to have to each cm of fabrics ? For example 10cm of flat fabrics = 5 cm with fronce I’m sorry for my approximative English, I’m a Froggy Girl 😇
@@stephanie_ki that is too much math for us. We do not use the foot this way. However, I would recommend that you cut a strip 20cn long and gather (write your tension and stitch length settings down) then gather. Keep adjusting your tension and/or stitch length until you have the ratio you like. Fabric thickness will play apart, so you will have to do this for each project.
How do you make sure the First Initial and Middle Initial are the same distance from the Last name initial? The bottom number on the screen (when adjusting ) will show # distance but how do you gauge the left and right ( F &M) from the middle (D) ? if you were not programming the letters to touch..
I have been quilting using edge to edge and I am getting nesting on the back of my quilt at the design joins (where I am starting the next design). I am using a B770, in the hoop, quilting needle and Gamut thread because of the colour. I adjusted the tension from 3.0 to 3.75 to 4.0 and nothing changes…any suggestions?? It is getting frustrating because my thread is a contrast to the back of my quilt so you can see the pattern…and the nests!!!
@@anndalynnketellapper8296 this is not a tension issue. You have to perform a “thread up” command and pull your bobbin thread to the top using your external needle up down button.

My motto is why do it by hand when I paid so much for the machine.😉 there are those times when it’s unfortunately necessary…great video, clear instructions, love the humor. I’m ready to try combi mode! I’ve gotten into it by accident and couldn’t get out. So frustrating. Now I think I get it! Thanks.
@@MySuzieJ Thank you for your comment. This video is pretty old and made in the days when we were just figuring things out. My recomendation to you, turn the volume down or scroll on.
Hi Gayle, thanks for the great tutorial!! I just bought my 770 QE plus and it came with the 97D patchwork foot. Can wait to try it out. Are you using the straight stitch plate too?
@@rq3980 sometimes I do. Normally I do not. I use a straight stitches plate with half-square triangles and lots of heavy seams. But good practice is to always use it.
Good morning. Can you help me? I have Creator v9. I would like to have the embroidery done and see it on the finished garment to see if it fits. I really don't know how to do this🫣
@@BERNINAofNaperville I wanted to see what the embroidery would look like on a specific piece of clothing (in the photo). When I wrote for help, I found how to do it.🙂
@@joyl1513 so sorry to hear that you sent us an email without a response. I just checked our email and I can not find any requests for fat quarter club. @@BERNINAofNaperville Thanks! I actually sent it to the address on your website which I think started with “Orders….”. I also had a few other questions too.
