i JUST had the star 30/30 put in my 23 117 SG ST and my god its an animal I love it. I am possbily gonna go big bore with 124 or 128 (131+ seems too extreme for a touring bike) I am planning for the future and trying to decide on intake size and injectors. It seems like the 55mm S&S mani and 5.5 injectors are pretty good on the 117 and good even on the 128 builds. I was floored by the power the cam made even on a fuel moto canned tune. I am gonna hold off on a dyno till i get the intake mani and injectors.
475 is a great cam its just soft on the bottom. MHP 485 is great because its on power band from the bottom. What diameter head pipe are you running? MHP 485 with a ported ward 64 intake and KW 2 into 2 small pipe will make 134 TQ and 122HP.
How’s it going my man, I’m going with the MHP 485(Star 30/30). I will not be using the screaming eagle tuner as I will be taking my bike to the shop to get Dyno -tuned. I already had this bike dynoed before so it should just be some minor tweaks.
Just awesome. My new journey begins Saturday when I pick up my new motorcycle and getting hit on my other one. GOD never gives us more than we can handle. I'm glad you are back riding after your accident. I will be riding again soon also. I was involved in a hit and run in October 2023. Separated left shoulder and tore right acl. I was just left in the street. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. We are still standing. Keep up the videos. Also what year is your bike? They totaled out my 2013 road glide custom. So we are buying a 2023 road glide limited. I am looking forward to trips with the wife. We have 4 planned this summer.
