The key is to ask him a question right before you go for the disarm. It will retard his reaction time by at least 0.5 seconds. For example : Gun man points a gun at you and is within disarming distance. You get your hands up. Gun man says, "give me your..." You then say,"how much do you want? 0.5 seconds after you say the last word (want) then you go for the disarm. Works like a charm.
I saw once a fight but dude small dude took he’s belt of and destroyed the big guy I was impress with the trick, but never used it jet, now in this video I thought it’s was a great idea, it was a smaller belt but destroyed the face of this guy, it was also the big dude fault so I just enjoy to watch 💪🏾

If you live in Canada you can’t use anything as a self defence weapon, because unfortunately our government doesn’t want us to protect ourselves, our only option is our fits but even in self defence you can still get charged for hitting someone, what a world we live in….
The only time you would prefer a palm strike is if you're very close but most of the time you should probably punch more because you have more reach and you have the power and if you say that punching hurts you're knuckles just say you're stupid at punching
