I think we live in the same city! Theres loads of places I go but we also have a lot of private land and ive been told to leave places a few times😬😂 ive found some fantastic stuff though, i love it

New to eBay selling my self mate well done on your milestone! You came up on my suggested and today I went to my first car boot and grabbed a few bargains! Question for you your racking systems putting away etc, how do you go to your items that are archived? Do you put a little note for your own reference on the actual eBay advert? Maybe this could be a video you do? Or is their one I’ll be able to find? Haha Very good videos been working my way through them.

When am item goes in a certain place whether its on my racking or storage boxes I add the location on my 'custom label' section on my listings. You can add any info in here including bought price, dates etc. Will aim to do a short video all about the SKU system 😁
Basically what you’ve covered their yes, so when a item sells you seem just go straight to the item almost like you know where exactly that is, I look forward to the SKU System video sounds good!
@mattsfishshed1464 Most of the time yes! Which means the system must be working well but on the odd occasion it has no SKU number then my second system.. my brain fails me too! 😅
Hi Dan thanks for watching, no plans to go full time as I have a very comfortable full time job that I'm happy in. So that'll always take priority as it pays our bills etc. The reselling business is something we can do as a family, get out and about etc. I always want to go bigger and better with it though 😁
@@georgestreasureshed The HMRC are total Rottweilers if they think your records are loose & and now Labour are running the show it'll be the small traders they will target as they are the ones who can least afford professional accounting services.
Hi Neil thanks for the comment, maybe I should've explained better. They did message saying they wanted to return and I said that's absolutely fine open a return case and will follow the correct procedure. So far nothing out of the ordinary but then they claimed they accidently closed the case but still wanted to return it 🙈
Not on eBay but Vinted at the minute there seems to be people with no reviews who “send” the item with EVRI, tracking appears to update like normal but then freezes, when you contact EVRI they know nothing about it or can see the information and because Vinted think it’s sent you have to wait 25 business days to get a refund
I buy a lot on vinted to resell on ebay (see my videos) and it seems like half of vinted listings are exactly this scam, no reviews, fake profile and photos copied from other listings etc
Interesting scenario George, thank for sharing. Trying not to be judgmental about your buyer but I noticed their conversation style (3:27) didn't feel very savvy/articulate (I've had similar conversation styles that just end abruptly) so I think they genuinely made a mistake with their closed case. Did their feedback suggest they do this often? All the best though. :)
Thanks for watching Dave, I tried to help them out but when a case it closed they cannot open another return case on the same item. I'm also not going down the route of refunds and returns outside of ebays system. They have a couple of neutral feedbacks but nothing to suggest they do this all the time. There's nothing else I could do to help and I've not heard from them since or had any feedback left. Thanks again 🙂
They probably didn't want to pay the return postage and were going to open another return based on not-working or not-as-described, in order to circumvent the return postage cost.
Hi Frank thanks for watching, quite possible but a bit of a long winded way to save a few quid. Quite possibly a genuine error but unfortunately couldn't do any more as was not prepared to refund them outside of the eBay policy 🙂
I tell customers to open returns and go through ebay system I never offer a partial refund on anything always say return, In you case you did right I would tell them to contact ebay as well as there is nothing you can do at your end, if they had made a genuine mistake they would have contacted ebay. in the past I have had change their mind returns and customer has done the old switch-a-roo
A carpet or rug - you'll regret putting those on the floor as they get dirty quickly, maybe consider carpet tiles which can be replaced or moved around or better still an easy clean floor surface.
Hey thanks for watching, ah that's true! I was also considering the foam interlocking tiles you can get. My idea being it would help with fatigue and standing for long periods. The tiles are also a good idea, thanks 🙂
@@georgestreasureshed For fatigue prevention have you considered a tall stool so you can sit down a little while but still handle your stock? I have one, easy to move it about and nicely takes the weight of your feet. :)

I’ve been doing exactly this by buying things associated with my hobbies. It’s pretty easy to find premium brands at a huge discount because people just want a quick sell. It’s perfect someone like me who works 12 hour shifts no need to leave the house and can post items on the way to and from work.

@Leeisfree01 yes absolutely, I only use ebay GSP postage system for international orders. I don't offer my own international shipping as it can get far too complicated with import taxes etc. GSP handles all this and you just post to a UK depot. I plan on doing a short video explaining GSP. Thanks 😀
1 video i would like to see is how do you do your books, do you have a app, do you use excel and document everything? how do you record your cash buys as a cost etc and whats your details on ebay maybe a bit personal but.... would probably bring a lot of views because everyone is soo vague with it probably because its all a fiddle but i off set costs have a cash book use a excel file for sales and manually do it old school but lots of folk dont know what to do/ claim for etc and not mant decent vids out there explaining- also keep up the work man smashing it!
Haha luckily I saw it! Thanks for watching. Yeah you used to be able to get labels, bags, boxes etc from UPS for free. I use them for Evri, royal mail etc no problem at all. Obviously with the correct courier labels on 😀
Posters have been reproduced every decade. I worked at a record fair on the 90s and sold posters to students. hundreds each week. Of all different current and classic bands, musicians and iconic images.

The larger 1/43 Dinky and Matchbox sell individual, check e bay sold on prices (nice models their) £6 to £15 each, the smaller 1/64 Matchbox Superfast are numbered 1-75, take your time with them as there are lots of different variations on them, colours and wheels etc, you may have rarer models on them, worth doing research on e bay sold items, number of the model will be on the base
@@georgestreasureshed if I remember right it was advertised as a cheaper home alternative to the BBC Micro Computer we used in schools as those beasts were pricey, I believe they used the same BASIC programming language as the BBC one.

I would recommend an "Expiry Date" on all inventory. Example, got twelve of these, sold 4, that paid for all the rest. But those 4 sales did not pay for the inventory space taken up by the other eight. Find more free space not by adding gadgets & widgits for more storage, but by moving out "Expired" inventory. Proven tip. Good luck wishes from Canada.
Hi the cost of postage with global shipping programme is determined by ebay as they handle the order. Will depend on size, weight and any import taxes etc. Hope this helps
