I had 4.0 cGPA, 3.95 OMSAS, 520 MCAT, 132 CARS. But stats aren't everything! It's only part of the application. This was my strong advantage but people with lower stats also get in with great EC's etc.
I wouldn't say I'm skimming. You do need to read relatively in detail to answer the questions. Is English your first language? I know some friends whose English isn't and they have a hard time with reading fast :( How is your timing otherwise? Is it under 9 minutes per passage? If you are able to do the questions fast then maybe it's okay? How are your practice tests?
@@yolalandx Yes it is my first language. My timing is usually 10 minutes on the easier-medium passages but the dense philosophical ones I take around 6-7 minutes to read and then answering the questions takes me awhile.I'm always scoring 126s on the practice tests only to get a 124 on the real thing twice now.

Wow! What a beautiful video and so well done. The food at this Melia is incredible. I stayed at the Melia in Cayo Coco two years ago and they were serving us tat he Buffet. We were not allowed to serve ourselves. They were very very stingy with portions and sadly I starved the entire 10 days I was there and ended losing almost 10 pounds, which is bad for someone who’s already underweight. I would consider returning to Cuba and going to this resort because the food looks much more abundant and amazing. Thank you for this great video.😊
@@Isaiaswolf66 no. There was food shortages, not their fault plus I also had dietary restrictions which made that my food choices were limited . The definition of all inclusive in Cuba is very different than anywhere else. Although I suspect part of it was due to the fact that it was right after Covid. I think the situation is better now.
I would be scoring in the 520s if CARS was not a drag... Literally, all my other sections are 130+ lol. I just took the MCAT so it is what it is. I won't retake it CARS haha. I like CARS and scored so high on the BANKS but for some reason I tend to rush that section.
Ahh congrats on finishing the MCAT! Wow that's a great achievement already and CARS sucks for most people lol so don't worry not worth taking it again and the pain! Good luck with you application!
Hi, thanks! For CASPER, I suggest you look up a good answer structure, do online practice problems under timed conditions and practice typing/thinking fast on the spot. There are several "rules" you should follow when writing CASPER such as always address both sides of the problem, remain nonjudgmental, don't make assumptions etc. If you want I can also make a video about it :) Oh and they have a free official practice test so make sure to do that.

Hi, don't worry, inside the resorts the Wifi is pretty good! Sometimes I had to go to the lobby for the best Wifi. Check with your resort to make sure.

I actually learned Japanese at university in Germany and then in my two years in Tokyo; afterwards, I didn't use it though and now I'm starting at a lower level again haha!
