i can not find my tiny sleeping bag. so small it is lost in all the junk i have. but my wool blanket works far better for camp out of my jeep. no rock pad needed. ( so far).
This is an excellent Sleeping Bag, I even used it as an Hammock Coccon since it has an opening in the bottom when I hiked Gran Canaria in the mountains at 1500m altitude... and for cowboy camping.
Just 3 minutes even less than that into this video when you were doing the fenders you didn't even say whether they were metal or plastic I could sell a bike 10 times faster than you, oh my hey guys send me that bike I'll sell
This particular model is both the best and worst hiking boot I ever had. They are the most comfortable hiking boots I ever wore, the ankle support is great and as you say, they are really, really weatherproof. But unfortunately the sole is worthless. I used these Salomons for hiking in the Karakoram mountains in Pakistan (K2 and Gondogoro La) and the sole was all but worn off in three days. It became even dangerous to continue my trekking on ice, snow and glaciers. If you remove the Contragrip out of the equation and replace it with a Vibram sole these are brilliant shoes, but this is unfortunately not the case.
Nice pad my kids have that one but like u said if ur tall want work I have one that I got that is wide and long and it costed but my hammock is also long and wide it was hard to find something
The elements are not good long term, they tend to fall apart a lot sooner than the regular more expensive Quest 4 gtx. The traction for all Quests are not good in icy/snow conditions, but if you use snowshoes in that season it matters not.
Am I the only one who would like a good bright light that you just press once for on and once for off? No going through all kind of setting just on/off.
I have some Quest that have been my number one boot for maybe 5 years? Great, solid, indestructible.. but Im hearing far too many stories of their new boots not meeting the same level of manufacture.
I bought a pair of Quest boots in February of 23; the toe caps started delaminating within a month, and the sole came off the left one last week. They've been fine otherwise, but for over $200, they should've lasted longer.
Sorry , the only boots I’ve worn are army boots , they do make a summer pair and a winter pair, no problems except when they get soaked / submerged in water (always keep extra socks)
