It IS tiny when you’re accustomed to riding Harleys! I say “tiny” with love and admiration. Great bike. But yeah… I don’t like the mirrors at all. I would definitely change them if I bought it. Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel 🫡
The Viking plate is horrendous. I guess you could paint it black which would help.. or rip it off. They are “supposed” to be quick mount… but that’s a roll of the dice. Still great for the price. Advanblack do decent bags too.
The bike has got thumbs up across the board from hundreds of reviews, unless they were done by people who expected 1200 cc size and performance from a 350 cc motorcycle World sales are bonkers. Making another review at this stage is questionable, unless some unforeseen insight or new feature is being revealed. Riding any motorcycle without proper vented summer protective gear is even more questionable. Dumping any motorcycle no matter how "tiny", has an undesirable effect on skin It's interesting how many reviewers have changed their tune after riding this bike. Mirrors can be changed to bar ends easily. Vibration is not an issue. Performance can be increased with air intake and cat delete mods. People who want a reliable, good looking, fun bike to commute or cruise the secondary roads on cannot make a better choice. PS re. the tripper nav problem may have something to do with your bluetooth version or perhaps a faulty unit. (dealer issue) Cheers.
Yes sir. The bike was much better than I was expecting. And for the price… it can’t be beaten. Plus you might be pleased to know I’ve now purchased a summer riding shirt! Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel 🫡
Yea, it is just not there in quality enough to get it yet. I am seeing several youtubers showing the material is not quite as thick and study as they would like. I do like the easy install approach they provide. And the looks is amazing. But, just not quite there yet for me.
The quality overall I would say is decent for the price. But yes, if you're looking for top quality I would go with the official Low Rider ST. Just better quality on the inside of the fairing and zero issues with bushings etc!
My faring cracked within the first 6 months over ownership. They did send me a replacement without any fuss or fight! Still disappointed that it broke so quickly, and hoping the second one lasts longer than 6 months!
Damn. Would be great to get an update from you in a few months on how it's holding up. So far mine is good outside of the bushings issue. I'll be taking it on a 6 hour ride this week... so let's see if she shits the bed or not!
haha! Glad that got noticed parce. I've been living in Colombia for 7 years and Medellin is perfect weather, great people, and great lifestyle. It's the wild west but I love it. Thanks for subscribing and hope you're enjoying Cali! One day I will visit there.
Great channel mate! I like your review of meteor 350, I owe one myself in UK and often ride with mates on Harleys and Triumphs. Obviously I can't keep up with them on motorways but on back roads this bike is amazing. Also a lot of my mates said this bike is completely different experience from their big v twins but keep asking to take it for a spin and love it. I think it takes you back to this raw biking experience where you don't have much power and electronics at your disposal like back in the 50's!
Welcome to the channel mate! Thanks for tuning in. Totally agree... it's just a fun easy bike and that's exactly what you want it for. Everything outside of motorway riding.. man... this is the one! My will to not buy one breaks by the day.
Globalists are destroying every inch of Western Culture. Look how your nation backs the invaders over natural born citizens. HD is finished until they remove that German and the agenda of the board. I'm one that's bought several new HD's over the years, ordered parts for even more. I'm done.
being from a third world country, this 350 cc bike has been a dream bike for me. it's heartbreaking to have it called "little" every single minute😂😂😂. i can't fathom to comprehend the harley you are talking about😂. i probably won't be able to afford it with 10 years of my life savings😂. nice video though. navigation and commentary is entertaining. keep it up, bro🎉
@@kitbot2318 😂😂 they have really high standards compared to us, bro. plus, he didn't mean it in a degrading way. i was just joking with him a little. it's okay, bro. he seems like a cool guy! don't sweat it!!❤️❤️❤️
I've got a slightly older model. It is my 'go to' bike for a lot of trips. I've ridden for years and this is my first Ducati and I love it. Mine has a number of upgrades, including saddle bags which will be replaced with external fuel tanks when I go across Morocco later this year. I liked your content, it was the ideal length and well produced. Thanks
@@Mark-yz8eh Hi Mark welcome to the channel and thank you for your kind words. Yes, the bike is awesome and surprisingly, I liked it better than the Triumph scrambler. Fuel tanks and Morocco… sounds incredible. Would love to see a video of that! ✌🏻
UPDATE ON THIS ISSUE: The plastic bushings I had made have also now broken. So maybe it's a design flaw on the fairing. Advanblack have just told me they will be sending two sets of replacement bushings (the same ones). So let's see if this keeps happening or not.
The answer is... no. Yet, the 350 is excellent for small town run abouts. I've moded my 350 about as far as you can go, but there's a speed limiter that can be by passed. Yet, I feel the 350 is not stable enough for 88 mph. Plus, you'll travel back in time if you go faster. 😅
That would be awesome. I’ve never ridden the Himalayan and will be doing a video with it in a week or so. I hear great things about it. Watch this space!
@@NoFrictionZone yea but it's liquid cooled. There is fan base, myself including, in air-cooled Himalayan, and only downside is that cruising speed isn't 130km/h.
So these bushings were made by some guy who is a contact of the mechanic at the dealer. So it’s not from an official outlet. However, someone has commented here that HD sell original ones that are a mix of metal and rubber (which sounds great). I’ll try to find the link for them and pin it to a comment on the video. Advanblack will also send replacements if you ask them. 👍🏻
I own a meteor in Stellar Black, its a 5 speed bike and the engine can take somse revs. Its good uphill even with a pillion! Get one you wont be dissapointed. Ive done highway riding even with a pillion but the bike shines on secondary roads. Btw Colombia looks like bikers paradise, cheers mate!
It's a great bike for sure. Though 2UP on the highway must've been a little hairy lol. Medellin in particular really is rider heaven... perfect roads, great weather and lots of freedom. Only issue is wet season and kamikaze drivers. Welcome to the channel! ✌
Welcome to the channel! Was thinking of a 2-1 Bassani with front sweeping headers.. but.. everyone does it. So I'm thinking I'll just keep the slip-ons (for now). Next stop will be the Dyno tune to remove the constant engine fault light. 👹
Youre better off buying the same fairing off Ali Express. In either case, you would need to invest in quality bushings for the winshield. The vivid black paint finish and brackets are excellent. The fairing is lighter than HD OEM which is a plus for weight saving however being light, it also shakes a little bit more than the OEM.
Thank you for sharing the video and your feedbacks. We value all feedbacks and opinions and taking them to make better products. That being said, we will be working to enhance the quality of the bushings =)
You’re welcome and thanks for acknowledging the issue. ✌🏻 Two questions for you guys so we can update the community here: 1. Will you send out higher quality replacement bushings if requested? 2. Have the bushings been updated/improved recently (or have they always been the same)?
The Meteor is my first bike, after I got the (bike)-driving licence at the age of 65 😊 just two years ago. So my bike experience is limited. However, I am very happy with it and don't mind longer trips. But I agree, it's hopeless on motorways. Especially here in Germany without speedlimits it can be downright frightning.
Welcome to the channel and congrats on starting your riding journey at 65! Sounds great. There are comments here that also confirm it's good to go for camping trips etc. Those highways in Germany though with this bike are a HELL NO lol. I shall be doing a video on the Royal Enfield Himalayan next week. Stay tuned!
I like the street glide looks much better but probably go with the road glide for the handle bars. Don't want to spend 2 grand upgrading the bars on a new bike.
My Advanblack ST fairing didnt come with any bushings for the windshield. I had to buy them from amazon cause i didnt want to wait for them to send them. The bigger problem that i have is a constant squeaking while riding from the inner and outer fairing pieces rubbing together. Soooo annoying
Hey Thomas, that sucks that they didn't even include the bushings WTF. The new bushings I had made are hard plastic and they are also now breaking lol. I'm going to contact Advanblack and see if they'll send me replacements. Stay tuned.
Thanks hermano and welcome to the channel! Those are Viking quick detach bags and yes, they are great. I'll be doing a review video on them in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
