Here you will find that I enjoy screaming into the void until it begins to scream back (The void is very confused as to why we are screaming.) I'm a Dhampir! Or, well a half-vampire! We do a handful of different things here on the ole Yub Tubs, formerly we were heavily invested in purely FFXIV content; these days we're working to re-focus the channel on a handful of select things like Gunpla, Indie Horror the occasional RTS game and still a lil bit of FFXIV!
i got this recommended to me after watching a honey b. lovely theme lyric video for the (censored) time and i needed to tell you, i binged this entire series immediately after watching it and love it SO MUCH. the only complaint i have is that they're so short because i could listen to you talk about final fantasy locations forever?? subscribed and about to start binging all your other videos ☺ well done!!
Hey thank you so much for that! It means a lot! This series was a bit of an experiment and im glad folks are liking it! I do want to see if I can potentially make some of them a slight bit longer in the future. I don't script these so I tend to improv the dialog the moment I get to the spot to record. XD
Mine is because I have the worst sense of direction in dungeons (real life I’m fine but in FF it’s like the direction part of my brain takes a holiday and I have even done Satasha about 30 times solo and still get lost every time) and despite so far not having encountered any meanness I don’t want to mess up other peoples experience.
Best scouting vehicle imo, Jumps, no fall damage, oxygen power and some light. Perfect for cave diving "literally" I just wish it could break stelegmites.
I cant tell you how often i SCREAMED at my buggys and medium rovers...i was so happy to find that the larges have 6 bloody wheels! 4 wheels HURT to get unstuck on a polyvector world.

I played Lord of the Rings online back when it was released. I roleplayed so much. In the town Bree, I went to the tavern there after a dungeon. I went in and talked "loudly" barkeep! Give me a big pint of mead. Then I sat in a corner and smoked pipe and made smoke figures and drank ale mead emote. A dwarf came up to me. And he said. You're an elf, but these are dark times, and I see that you are struggling. Can I buy you some mead and hear your story. I said yes. During the dungeon, my faction leader died. Of course, he came back, but I roleplayed that I almost lost a good leader and a friend of our warrior group. The dwarf took out a pipe and made some crazy smoke rings and said, " I have been there." It doesn't matter if you are an elf, human, or hobbit. Everyone experiences losses sometimes or close call losses. Maybe I am drunk because I am talking to an elf, but I felt your story. Cheers. That day, an elf and a dwarf drank mead together and talked about life. It usally comes naturally. I just started final fantasy and I do not know shit about anything in final fantasy. But I am reading the lore of my character race and already have an idea on how to behave.
I only used a fantasiq for three reasons. 1. Initially I wanted to be a hrothgar but couldnt due to free trial 2. I love cats & currently own one 3. The fantasia was free.
he at least got the ball pros:infinite oxygen supply, the only transportation method that lets you pick it up, and consequently you can transport it in a rover or something like that. also, your pets can ride it as well cons:no item storage. womp womp
I'd like to see more of this sort of thing. I'm hoping to start a sort of in-game tour guide service - as much for my benefit as for anyone else's - to see some locations we never think about, give a small lore talk on the area, maybe take pictures. I've put the plans on hold to get through Dawntrail, but the world of Hydaelyn has such beauty to it and I want to explore it all and share it.

i made one of these but hated the random names, i made a sea wolf and went with the name Olivia Sacredblossom. no real way i can make that work with the usual naming conventions so that ended up with me making her being adopted by a hyur couple part of her backstory, and honestly thats also the only real thing ive set in stone as im a new player and i cant play until i get a new computer
A lot of my characters tend to end up drifting away from the more rigid traditional names; so i totally get that! My viera is a prime example. X3 Also welcome to Eorzea!
Great video! I only started playing with the Xbox free trial, currently about halfway through Stormblood, but I can't wait to be caught up and play the expansion. I agree though, it's hard not to feel like you HAVE to catch up quickly, but so far, the game has been amazing. I grew up playing WoW and haven't played it many years, so playing FF14 has reawakened my love for MMORPGs. Cheers!
about the graphic another thing you gotta keep in mind is keeping simple allow more modest setup to run the game it wouldn't be very smart to please a small percentage of the population by telling another sizeable part of that their hardware is no longer good enough for their perhap favorite game
Did the same thing when i first found it. I axidentaly landed the rocket in the wrong place then found that felt luckey i had a way to drive home. After driving it into a cave 4 times and digging it out i maid it. Running would have been faster but no teathers and all that
I chose the classic final fantasy ui color when I first started because its like merging old ff games with this more modern mmo. I like the light color ui but classic is the easiest to read the text on the ui windows. I also hope they add in different color ui like green or even purple & gold, just different sort of colors like orange window with black text if its october, maybe even add seasonal themed text & windows, like for christmas season make the text green & the window red with mistletoes & gingerbread cookies in the corner of the ui window.
I hunted the one place coethral or something like that. I killed lvl 38 n 39 white wolf pup n still didn’t get it. Hunted others there as well n still the same. So frustrating
It would have been helpful to also explain how to actually permanently append a glamour plate to a gearset so when you switch between gearsets you don't need to constantly enter the glamour plates menu from the character profile.
