Excellent job. I did it from underneath without removing the ignition mounting bolts. Very tricky as when I removed the switch all 5 bits fell onto the floor. The wheel and pivot. A small pin and spring and a plastic slider. Used a bit of grease to keep the parts in place. Works fine now.

If your car is the same as AUDI A4 B8, you need to replace the sensor as shown in the video. If your car is another brand, you need to know the location of the temperature sensor before replacing it with a new one, like 0:50
THANK YOU. Your video is excellent!! Helped get 95% of the panel off. That cable though is a banana when not knowing how to remove it. That plier clip tool puller is almost mandatory. I bought a trim removal kit that had one, and I did use it successfully, there are 6 post clip towers, 3 on on each side of the vertical edges of panel. I bought a bag of 30 replacements just in case, and did replace all 6 anyway as insurance against new noises. Then I had to pull side to side while lifting to release the panel from the top lip edge. I had a lot of little tree seeds behind the panel at that area. That cable clip is not so bad, after knowing how to disconnect it! There is a small pull tab that needs to be lightly bent away from the attachment point and the entire cable assembly will teeter out by lifting. It's actually easy, but could not see what was happening in the last part of the video. I am refoaming the speaker seal, and placing flet strips at ALL contact points on my door where the panel will go back on. I have a temperature related chip-squeak annoying me for many years in the Spring and Fall when the weather changes.
Every time to removed the door Panel , that post clip towers will be damaged.,If you don't like too much noise, you can add sound insulation cotton inside the door, and you can also replace the door seal with a new one if necessary.

Widzę, że masz zawór EGR WAHLER. przed silnikiem, jak mój!. udało Ci się zdemontować ten zawór EGR???, mój jest zatkany - zapchany, nie dotarłem, nie mogłem go wyciągnąć = zdemontowany….. czy jest jakieś specjalne narzędzie i jaką metodą to zrobić….. dziękuję bardzo, do zobaczenia wkrótce, od Gérarda Montérina.
