Hey everyone, I've been uploading videos since I started my first business at 18 years old, and now at 21, I've continued this journey. I started sharing to illustrate the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, hoping to spare you some of the embarrassment I experienced. Having overcome many challenges, I now grasp the workings of this game. I've rebranded as I transitioned from auto detailing to owning a mechanic shop. Despite the ongoing ups and downs, and the occasional fear, I remain committed to moving forward. Follow my videos as I provide real insights into being a business owner and the gradual process of building a company. I'll also share content related to my work and perhaps even personal hobbies. Keep your head up and keep pushing forward.
What if someone gave you client and you just want to wash them car and reach their location? I meant I am talking about dealership? I hear most of them run this business...?
Dealerships after a while, start taking advantage of you. It's okay to start and learn things but over time, they're gaining "interest" over you by getting free cars detailed. I've dealt with plenty of used car detailers and they don't appreciate or tip for the most part, if ever. The shitboxes they bring use more time/resources and they won't even have a consistent amount. Once you get your own clients and referrals, wrap it up for the used car dealers. They don't care and won't care if your vacc fails, if your air compressor fails, power wash fails, etc. It won't make sense after a while.
I got a 09 GT it’s been driving funny and now the OD came on and out the car into limp mode checked the light with the obd2 scanner it’s say pressure control solenoid (P0745) any pointers on what should be the next step to getting it fixed can’t find any videos on replacing it
You can’t ! Dealerships don’t like to spend but I mean now it’s up to me to do the cars fast enough and if I can get 4-5 done a day then that’s $480-$600 a day
@@CarsMastersMecanicShopyou can charge more it’s your business and your service you gotta make money. Now dealerships some will pay and others won’t and that’s okay. We do dealership work as well and if we doing new cars charging $100 vac wash ect typical stuff if it’s used we charge them $200 engine bay, steam clean wipe down vacuum ect stain treatment, but if you are in a good position for the business and don’t need to depend on dealer work you good they need you you don’t need them how i like to look at it, because they gonna add that detail price in the car value to make a profit so it’s okay to charge a little more they will make triple that back.
Bro I've seen that exact type of liquid in the same model of vehicle I forgot which one, That's a Dodge journey right? Maybe I'm wrong I forgot but yeah bro nobody ever uses those compartments and I've seen nasty s*** like that before at the auction. Wild I wonder what it is. But yeah when I vacuumed mine up I was like damn somebody put oil down here. But it's got to be something else
You should see how we detail at the auction right here smack dab the middle of Phoenix. A lot of that s*** be for sure and I get it. Dealer's auctions, trade-ins and repos, those things were trashed yo. Thanks for the info bro appreciate it
Bro,, Oh how i wish you guys were out here in Charleston, SC!! I'm talkin a great collaboration it would've been! I'd introduce the idea of also cleaning clients who finance from us to ramp up revenue for you, the whole nine!
1 min in and I can tell you from someone that's been in the business 25 years. Dont listen to this guys advice. Anyone that suggests you lower your price because there's volume is misguided. Also anyone that says that's gonna be the best price inside and out that youre gonna get at a dealer is just wrong or doesnt know how to negotiate. You've got the tools and the know how, my suggestion is you move on to a real dealerships or fleet washing if you want to do volume for better money my dude.
You aren't very bright the word here should be "quality ." Why would he use good equipment for low ends jobs? Paint brushes do the same job as detailing brushes. Have been doing the job before the existence of detailing brushes. Why are you worried about what this man is using if you have nothing positive to say. He just told you he wasn't really detailing silly, they don't buy all that high-end shit to get paid $120 it's a known thing with stealerships buy the the cheapest quality shit because they will not pay for quality. Like instead of hand waxing you'd do an AIO. Go troll somewhere else
Sometimes if you spray some degreaser on it’ll come out boss but if you try everything you can and the stain doesn’t come out I recommend letting the carpet dry and then going to orileys and buying fabric paint (special paint for carpet and seats) and it’ll look like new! I’ll try and make a video on that later
Im glad I could help you ! If you want me to make a video on anything else just let me know and I’ll make a video on it. Thank you for commenting it means a lot !
I was/am getting $160 per car with dealerships, but it got to a point where they would only bring cars that need quite a bit of work and it went from a guaranteed 3x cars per wk to 1 car or none, so this is the last month I’m working with them. Dealerships are temporary. If you’re getting enough personal cars, don’t deal with dealerships.
That is true there are a lot of ups and down working with dealerships so I definitely do recommend not to work with dealerships unless you really need to🤝🏼 i was working with the dealership in this video for a while but they wouldn’t pay me until 2-3 weeks later so I cut it off !
I am very happy for you!! I know you will do well you come across great on cam and your a great communicator. Stick with this you are going to be very successful!!!
From my research you need something called “garage keepers insurance” or something along those lines boss but yes you should definitely get your LLC which separates your personal name with your company and if anyone tries to sue you then they will be suing your company and won’t be able to take your personal assets 💪🏻
This really helped a lot man, I am just starting my business and I this really made me feel more confident because I don’t have all the tools yet. Thank you and Aloha! 🤙
